Loving the visual upgrades since last vid. Things are getting a lil high res compared to the characters tho I feel like, makes it feel kinda incongruent. I doubt you'd redo all that sprite work so are there any plans making the environment lower res? I'm no game dev but I think I've seen ppl downscale all their textures or rendering or whatever with code. Not trying to backseat dev over here btw haha just into design. Also this my fav dev series I've seen, keep em comin!
I just randomly got this video recommended and honestly? These small additions do so much in terms of visual enjoyment. Getting stuff like the tankard, maybe a plate and cutlery or a small campfire etc, does so much to make the world feel more lived in.

I'd like to do co-op eventually, might not be proper online though. It''d be way easier from a development standpoint to just leverage steam play together with local multiplayer rather than having to write all the online code

Yeah I agree, I figured it was better to make the textures higher resolution at first and then dial it down when I decide what looks the best.
