Acording to CBI the gap between the steel bumper and the plastic bumper cap should be about 1/4" to 1/2", not the 1/8" or less you show. I actually did that my first install and it ended up rubbing on the steel and causing a rust spot. Beware.

hello thank you for all the info on this bumper, I have the same tacoma as you, it's a 2019 offroad. I'm shopping for the front bumper and I'm hesitating between the C4 FABRICATION OVERLAND and the ALLPRO OFFROAD APEXG3N.... and the one that you put the CBI ADVENTURE .... I have the impression that the CBI is stronger, I'm going to put steel and when I compare the 3 steel ones the cbi is heavier on the website it is written 200 lbs, the C4 135lbs, the AllPRO APEXG3N 115LBS... I wonder which one would be better, for me the most important thing is the solidity and the best fit for a winch.. some bumpers are hell to put a winch on, I want the place for the winch is well done, warn zeon 10k ... can you give me advice or your impressions for the CBI it looks very well done. THANK YOU

So sick! Have you thought about putting any wheel spacers on? I just recently put 1.5” spidertrax on mine makes the stance look real aggressive!
I have some on the rear due to having wide wheels and having smooth body shocks I needed them to clear the shock body LOL

I believe steel is around 200 and aluminum is around 115

Why did you have to relocated the reservoirs? It looked like they fit with the factory king mounts?

I did but the size isn’t correct I have to make brackets for it now just havnt had time so just make sure before u order ur lightbar you check what size fits in the hybrid bumper

I have the CBI Baja series bumper sitting in my garage ready for install. I have Kings and no where on their site during the ordering process does it state anything about needing different reservoir mounts WTF. I can’t even find the mounts on their site! Where did you get them from?
I had the same problem. I called CBI directly and ordered them via phone. $64, shipped quick and got the brackets within a week 👍
U need to contact them directly they weren’t on the website from what I saw

I got aluminum due to the weight cool part it’s still strong enough for a winch if u don’t mind the weight though I’d go with steak
