Thanks for the video! You inspired me to buy this variety to add to my hot Arizona yard. Hoping it does as well in my climate as it does in yours.

@@TropicalGardenGuy can’t get them in the UK Jeff🙄. Plus my serious medical issue needs to be dealt with first so plants would be the last thing on my mind 😬

Don't recommend the Stewart I have a 5yr in ground that sets but drops all its fruit. Its a multi-graft now, I attached GreenGold, GEM, & Lamb this season.✌️🥑

Great video!!! My uncle has a MexicolaGrande tree, about 10 yrs old and every year has dropped all the fruit. He lives in Ceres, I wonder what is missing. Do you fertilize the tree when flowering and if you do. What type of fertilizer? Thanks

When you're making guacamole from your Mexicola Grande, how do you deal with the skin? Is it paper-thin and edible, as with some other Mexican varieties? If so, do you just leave it, or are they peelable? I've made guacamole from Wilma fruit (with edible, black skin) but it made for some strange-looking guacamole.

My mex grande only set 3 fruit bb size dropped them all , the tree is growing fast about a 3 inch trunk , takes cold well, your mg doing much better perhaps mine is still just too small ,I will give it a few more years

      Yea the older the better.
I’m really disappointed with big black.
Dropped 90 percent of its fruit. Does the worse of all my Cados in holding fruit.
Could be heat , sun doesn’t bother them.

Today's humidity is probably making the Avacodo trees feel better.
