You brought me millennial joy when you randomly hit the Yung Joc motercycle dance bwahaha! I meal prepped sweet potatoes last week and made a mixture of creole/cajun flavored peppers, onions and sausages stewed in a tomato sauce to go on top. It gave shrimp and grits, but instead sweet potato and sausage with the same flavors, super delish. Enjoyed the vid Shakayla!

I’ve recently decided to go plant based for health reasons and one of the frustrating thing is not being able to get enough protein! This is extremely important to me because I don’t want to lose muscle mass while taking care of my health! It was frustrating because I was just struggling to find the balance between the two things that are important to be. But after watching your video ,I felt so comforted🥹. I'm on a high protein plant based journey right now and my favorite meal so far has been a spaghetti and meat sauce made with pumfu and Aldi's one ingredient Chickpea pasta. Very high protein in one dish.

Hi Shakayla! I have problems with my digestion too. I have chronic illnesses so it comes with the territory, I am going to try that tea. Having ginger tea as I type. I like to focus on protein as well. I don’t like to snack and it keeps my blood sugar stable from one meal to the next. On a side note - my pup has a pumpkin blanket that he’s had since he was little. They are so sweet.

Not sure if you live near a Trader Joe’s but they sell a high protein tofu (soy) with 70g protein per package. I love it and think it tastes much better and is easier to work with than the soy free one

I usually do protein overnight oats for breakfast, tempeh Lett, tomato onion sammie, crispy tofu w/a gochujang sauce, broccoli & basmati brown rice , or I’d use a beyond or Gardein product, when I’m tryna do a quick 1-2 in the kitchen.. I definitely wanna make that cheesy quinoa mix 😋

I am going to try the broccoli dish. I have a recipe that is quinoa, lentils carrots onions that is so good. I don’t do oil, or milk but I will try the dishes. Soy free means no soy! Sorry but I have never tasted soy before although I hear it takes on the flavor of what it’s used for. So does it have any flavor those triangles. What type of mushrooms are those. Thanks

How many calories is this? I am struggling to even get to 80g protein while staying low cal (1500)!! I'm so frustrated. I've been WFPB for a little over a month and without adding protein powder and/or a protein bar, I just can't get it done. Your food always looks amazing by the way. :) Also, I'm not 100% sure but the last 2 times I ate Tofu I got a rash. Allergy? Idk. Sucks.

I do a similar loaded sweet potato but I like to load it with chili beans and TVP (and then I season with taco seasoning and bbq sauce)

How many calories is this? I am struggling to even get to 80g protein while staying low cal (1500)!! I'm so frustrated. I've been WFPB for a little over a month and without adding protein powder and/or a protein bar, I just can't get it done. Your food always looks amazing by the way. :) Also, I'm not 100% sure but the last 2 times I ate Tofu I got a rash. Allergy? Idk. Sucks.
