Translation to english: A big tree stratches its branches toward the sky It looks up to the sky, As if it misses you The blooming earth spreads its scent up to the sky It looks up as if it searched for a star in which you reside / You must travel through the endless starfield I lay down and feel the earths warmth If a star flies by, I think of you Since when is the sky so far away // The sky heard the tree and earth talking He brings soothing rain, For a rainbow to appear /// When the tree spreads its roots there, He will carry my soul and memories If the wind ever blows so unstoppable, He will bring you my dream //// When the tree spreads its roots there, He will carry the blossoms, blue as the sky If the wind friendly dispels the blossoms The line between sky and earth blurrs Then repeat: / /// //// // This probably isn't perfect, among other things due to the fact, that the original german lyrics aren't written in the best german and other things are just hard to translate, cause of inconsistentcies with how german and english work.
Both this and the instrumental versions are great! This one shines during its climax with the vocals but the other version is better for the other parts. Why did I get em AOT vibes though, did they inspire one and another.
I've gotta say, the story isn't bad at all. Only people I know who say that are those who completely skipped all the affinity missions, which are where a bulk of the character development takes place. The game definitely has it's flaws but the story certainly isn't one of them. I've gotta say, easily one of the most fun and immersive games I've played even though it's a bit janky. As someone who's poured about 120 hours into the game here's what I have to say Combat: Pros, easily the best in the series, only real contention is the Torna DLC. It took XC1 and improved it. While some are better than others, there is a build for every playstyle. Also mech suit combat, enough said. Cons, complete lack of tutorials, and can be unbalanced at times once you know what your doing. Seriously, you should probably look up a guide for Overdrive, you're not figuring it out otherwise. Story: Pros, some of the best writing I've seen. Lao is easily one of if not the best character in the series and there's a few others that contend as well. Completely nails it on almost all fronts. Especially when it comes to worldbuilding, there is heavy focus on the side quests/Affinity mission over the main story as that is where most of the game is. And they completely nail it with the side quests. Just to name a few of my favorites there's a Back to the Future style scientist lost in time, a terrorist threatening to blow the city up using lobster bombs, a murder mystery, and introducing aliens to Pizza. Not to mention there's a good chunk of side quests with multiple potential endings and even some that lead into different quests depending on said ending you get. Cons, pacing is weird at times. Like, you can go from helping Gwin out with his love life to fighting in a warzone, both of which are required for the main story. Otherwise nothing. Music Pros, easily one of the best OST's of all time Cons, they did not use it well. Audio design kind of sucks. There are a few other things I feel I should mention they didn't really fit into a category 1. The Final Boss is garbage. Easily the single worst part of the game 2. The flight module quest was handled terribly, you need it for the main story but is only required after a chapter where it is nearly essential, and stupid grindy to actually finish 3. For a game on the Wii U it runs amazing. On a system that struggled to run something like Splatoon, this game runs with little issue. Taking into consideration thos is one of the largest open world of all time being able to fit the entirety of BotW into it 4 times (Another game the Wii U cannot run), has only 1 loading zone, and one of the most beautiful worlds I've ever seen in a game this is impressive. Yes a good chunk of that map is ocean, but there are actual things to explore/do in said ocean. Hopefully this gives you a more accurate depiction of Xenoblade X, the game the us currently my 4th favorite game of all time. Only beaten by XCDE, Triangle Strategy, and Library of Ruina.
Main story is short but definitely not weak. It's a side mission-heavy game, and the side missions actually often have great stories of their own, sometimes enhancing the lore and enriching the main plot as well.
@@vanilla8956 I think that's a great way to describe it. In order to get the most from the story you have to care. You have to immerse yourself in the world and follow the side quest chains and do the affinity missions, because the main missions are the plot, the story is everything else.
as a native german speaker, I can understand it but only when reading the lyrics. Some words are understandable. But most of it sounds like gibberish. very pretty gibberish mind you, but gibberish none the less.

I swear Hiroyuki Sawano is obsessed with German songs.
Japanese are obsessed with Germans, because of the Nazi period in which they shared many ideas.
Im happy about that as a german ❤ 😁😁😁😎😎😎😎 i love his compositions ❤️ AoT best1 so far

You must travel through the endless starfield

If a star flies by,
I think of you
Since when is the sky so far away

The sky heard the tree and earth talking
He brings soothing rain,
For a rainbow to appear
///
When the tree spreads its roots there,
He will carry my soul and memories
If the wind ever blows so unstoppable,
He will bring you my dream

When the tree spreads its roots there,
He will carry the blossoms, blue as the sky
If the wind friendly dispels the blossoms
The line between sky and earth blurrs

The Xenoblade trilogy definitely lack songs in German.
as german I agree

The lyrics are even fitting
Both this and the instrumental versions are great! This one shines during its climax with the vocals but the other version is better for the other parts.

Hiroyuki Sawano composes both this and AOT.
who the fck dislike this ?
... Lao. This track is basically his. Pure perfection. Pulls on the heart (context).❤✨🤌
Everyone says this game has a weak story, which puts me off playing it... but damn a lot of the music I've heard from it sounds emotional as hell
