4 world records crowning SHERP the most capable off road vehicle on the planet, years worth of challenge requests conquered, impossible bounty holes won, lives saved where nothing else could reach people, and David gets it stuck on the first bet... I swear somehow David could get a plane stuck in a cloud somehow!! 🤣🤣🤣 Awesome video, love the hoodie!!
The correct consistancy of mud will definitely get the flat bottom of these things hung up I have no idea why these are considered the offroad kings. They lack in speed, and climbing for certainty. But, hell ya they go through almost anything
@marioncobretti7870 Don't get me wrong, there are very little vehicles built that can go where a Sherp can go. They are one of if not the best offroad machine
@@ostacruiser i get that they accel in mud usually, but you aint going up inclines like a 1000 hp rock crawler is going. Youll be on your roof totalled if you try, and i know, you know it. Too many videos of sherps online rolling on small inclines to prove it wrong But mud, swamp. Sure i agree. Still slow. Id like to see someone with a suspension kit on an argo with a bike engine take a sherp on
In Florida, we carry a boat anchor. If you get stuck you can winch against it just enough to get traction. Fun video. Seeing an Argo pull a Sherp is embarrassing.
I once rode with a friend who got his sherp stuck back here in Nova Scotia. Came out of a lake into some marshy area and just bottomed out. Just needed a little tug from an atv to get moving. Great videos buddy keep it up!
Being someone who rides that in that shit from time to time. It is utter gooo. Even when it is dry ish its still goo once you go through the top inch or two you start getting into trouble
The one weakness with these vehicles is when they roll over. But since they are bottom heavy, if you put a roll cage on it would just roll back upright onto its wheels again, just like a Japanese Duramas doll!
Awesome video!!!! I know normally airing down is the answer but under the circumstances do you think that maybe airing waaaay up might have gave it the extra ground clearance to get out as the belly was high centered ? I enjoy your videos, thanks!!!!
I agree with this. Also, if it had more RPMs to play with, the paddle tires may start to do more by slinging mud off and the side with water would create more pressure, especially if the paddles were a bit bigger.
It’s a really difficult location. The trackhoe fell through beside the old bridge as the bridge had been dug out 100 feet before and after. I can find some pictures of when it first went through.
Gracias por aportar experiencias de dificultades y SU MANERA DE SORTEARLAS. La HERRAMIENTA "Sherp" es MARAVILLOSA. y GRACIAS por mostrarla ENTERA hasta "sus" LIMITES .
How long did you let the tires turn before you hooked up the strap and gave it some help? I wonder it it would have eventually got out, or if it was TRULY stuck. Was it still making any progress? To put it another way, did you really get it stuck, or did you get bored waiting on it to come out?
GRACIAS.
Looks like just a couple sticks just wider than the tires. And sideways not lengthways would’ve just started piling up or just started getting enough traction.
Do you have wenchs on this one and i have a idea for ya it is called a shovel anchor for pulling yourself out when out by your self if you have a wench
6 guys could have pulled that out by hand with that strap I bet. I've pulled my Argo out enough times by myself by hand. It's just that tiny bit of assistance that it needs to get going. The sheep and the Argo are not usually that stuck, it only takes a little assistance in most cases.
I bet if you'd had all the passengers pull on the tow strap it would have walked right out. Looked like one of those times you just needed the tiniest nudge so the tires could get a little bite. You should try using an exhaust jack with the Sherp. Tip one end up a bit to plant the other and drive off of it.
OMG! You pulled it out by the hitch!?!?!?! No Factor 55 Hitchlink, SKOOKUM 1Inch 263 Alloy Screw Pin Anchor Shackle, or Bubba Rope Off-Road Truck Recovery Gear. That hitch pull usually snaps and sends the other part through the vehicle like an RPG!
Damn! For years of watching you drive Sherps, I always figured that they could drive the right and left wheels in opposite directions (like a tank). Just realized that’s not possible! Would have been so easy to get you out of that ditch if Sherps had opposite rotation. I guess that’s not mechanically possible?
we got some pretty nasty swamps and boggy shit down here in louisiana come on down brother. You name it, its been stuck where im talking about lol. That sherp might eat er up though
that proves to you that ther's nothing on planet earth that you can't get stuck, the sherp is very impressive but you can still get it stuck, all it takes is the right kind of mud...
Looks like it takes specific mud where it’s soft enough for the Sherp to sink but solid enough for it to high center and sticky enough for the suction. Wild how something that can go through water can get stuck so quick on what looks like an innocent little pond.
Wouldn’t be worth trying to fix it lol I live near a couple hours away, it’s some of the only salt water. For hours, the dozer that went through the ice had numerous problems after
The Sherps biggest disadvantage is the not being able to operate the wheels in different directions at the same time. I don’t understand why Sherp hasn’t fixed this issue yet. Seems like a fairly easy solution.
You have no idea of my skills in getting vehicles stuck. Here's a short list; Bobcat Mini-excavator 2004 International 9400 several times. Various front-end loaders A Cat 350 excavator And my crowning achievement? D-10 High-track dozer. The Sherp would be stuck 😊
The most Canadian thing I’ve heard today is “thank you for getting me stuck here’s some money for your troubles”. Love you guys.

We have a guy with a work boat that moves boat lifts to the shore. He carries a trash pump to wash sand out from under his barge if he gets stuck.
Yeah buddy! The track-o would be a perfect recovery for the Diesel Brothers. Thanks for the vajeo!! 🤘

That was a stuck. Nice to see what it takes to stop a Sherp.
I’ll tell my boss Heavy D about that excavator. Doesn’t look like there’s much to save , just an environmental cleanup lol
Ya dude! Haha. Hope we can come down and visit you guys some time

I know it’s not a recreational vehicle, but have you ever tried a Truxor in those conditions? It just might be the amphibious machine that can do it.
Will it Capsize, or turn upside down? Could become trapped inside it seems

@8:26 *WHAT A BEAUTIFUL MACHINE* 😍
I think you need a winch and a plow point to set in the hill!
Didnt change the tire pressure enough , you need to fill and empty the pressure and repeat until the mud push you out
I did several times. Not my first time being stuck with it lol
@ostacruiser I'd let it get stuck for $500 too
Well that was impressive and I bet the smell was horrible. Hope they had a good bbq or something afterwards with that $500.
How about putting the branches in the opposite direction so the paddles could grab it ?
Wevtried that as well, the tires were sunk so deep it just wouldn't pull them down without standing them up lol

The tires are so big and soft I wonder if having independent control of tire inflation would let it act like the exhaust jacks.
That thing is insanely capable.

awesome think to cruse on everglades swamp , i call it Shreck, my neghbore have one)
why didn't they equip it with a winch, it's necessary with such equipment. You can drive some metal into the ground and use a winch
We have a Muscat hole that we don’t even take four wheelers in anymore. It’s so bad.
