- We had an awesome time taking the guys out in their Atlas. It's always an adventure when you hit the backcountry.

Horrible nightmares of a fly fishing trip in late August several years back. I needed a blood transfusion to replace the what the flying needles drilled out.
Now that's a friggin' test!! Some of the most extreme conditions!! 😎👍
That is the most horse flies I have ever seen. I cant believe they aren't attacking you guys that much it seems. I swear one of them will follow/chase you for hours around here lol. Cool to see the difference between the two machines, awesome video.

I think you should carry two-way radios for this kind of exercise. Lovely content though. Keep on keeping on. When I first saw the Atlas on TH-cam I looked for a comparison with the SHERP. I think that we now have one. Thank you sir.

Atlas cosmetically looks like a nicer machine and 4 wheel steer is cool but that’s where it kinda ends. Needs the Sherpa’s tires for sure and obviously cooling. Osta’s driving capabilities for sure help the Sherp’s abilities, David you’re a wheel man no doubt.
Didnt he say they broke part of the radiator off or off of the overfill on the Atlas?
I'd love to be the camera man on one of these!

Coming from someone who has never and probably never will even get the chance to run one of these machines, I am sentimental towards the originals and am happy it seems Sherp is king lol

This sherp stuff is amazing. I enjoy this kind of content better than trail riding. Trail riding is just that. This kind of sherp content is Awesome. Not every body has a sherp and if they do they don't use it like you do. If they do they don't share it..
Sherp to me is like an amphibious skidder. It don't care if just goes..

What's the range you could do on one of those for a back country trip like that?
We moose hunt for 5 days. Cover hundreds of kms on one 80L tank of fuel

I cried over replacing a $400 tire after only 30 kms of use. I can only imagine the pain Atlas is feeling from that one. What is that? Like $1500/ tire?
Just a tire service after and 150$ for the repair. I saw many similar cases with the Sherp tire and even worse. 😉
@tymurchumak4125 I got a railroad spike through my cryptids. Was told it can't be repaired and the hole is smaller than that.
Where do you get holes like that fixed?
What kind of winch rope was that?

I saw you climbing over those logs and I was like, wow they're going to get a flat tire. Big surprise, also, pretty messed up to enter those bugs natural habitat and then just try and murder hundreds of them. It's a bad luck

Overall it needs more work but would be great for some situations but its no sherp , not even close especially those tires .

Why hook on control arm? Is there no front tow hooks/mounts?
We hooked to the control arm obviously because there are now front tow points. Crazy for an offroad only machine imo
@ostacruiser sorry it wasn't obvious to me, I thought maybe I was just missing something or couldn't make it out in the footage. So yes that is crazy that there were no tow hooks on such a massive and expensive off-road vehicle. I doesn't even make any sense, that should have been textbook 101 on engineering the front of this vehicle and items required. It seems to follow the theme of this company seeing that they didn't even bring all of the required tools to work on it. No Allen/hex wrench in their tool kit to open the radiator reservoir overfill compartment lid. No spare water or antifreeze? Good thing you were there to offer yours.

I was going to buy some stuff from you, however, the cost of shipping was the deal breaker for what I was buying. I always start with a small order, if I like the product I would buy more. But am not spending $50 to ship small items in Canada. I buy and sell online too, and know the shipping costs. I can’t believe you have so many years doing this and still did not have the right tools to even remove a cover. Also do you pack enough water and food? For some reason it looks like you are simply depending on the machine to not fail and get you back out. Plan for the worst hope for the best.

I just have no interest in those vehicles. Tried to watch the video to see if I could gain a different perspective but I couldn't sit through it, made it about 3 minutes and stopped it.
The flies make me feel sick. I've never seen so many before. I thought the 100 or so that fly around our helmets were bad.
