Thank you so much for uploading these!! Goat
this is actually great to watch. fantastic job guys. keep them coming.
Congrats to him!
Yay Brian!!
game 2 josh was so ahead and had to top deck his way out of that beating of a comeback lol
improve with bucky insane... gg stilllll
It didn't take long for Lorcana to turn into magic LOL no one has fun with reveal hand/discard gameplay.
why bucky got him from flynn? he had 1 resistance from the hidden cove and flynn just have 1 attack
Bucky/diablo is the worst thing that's happened to this game. It's unfortunate. We've skipped all constructed events this set because of the current meta. Makes the game unplayable and super unwelcoming to new or younger players. I've only taken my kids to drafts this set which is the only enjoyable way to play right now.
Finding ways to counter Bucky & Diablo is very interesting. And I think/hope, that Set 5 will bring many more opportunities to do that
Better than having Ruby Sapphire just assemble Tron every game and go over the top of everyone else.
Learn to play around it it's not that bad people just complaining. @@HeyJude1987
@@JAllengaming The fact, that the deck won the Challenger event in Chicago just tells you, that it is nowhere close to easy to just "play around it"...
@@DieinnereStimme and the fact that red/blue made more of the top cut should tell you it's a better deck and with out bucky and friends to keep it in check everyone going to complain about red/blue after bucky gets banned
I wish people would stop the incessant hand shuffling. It does nothing. Set your hand down. Stop tweaking.
Hiram, Bucky, be prepared, queens castle, goat, rabbit. All bad choices by game creators
If these cards aren't in, you'll complain about others, believe me. Some cards will always be strong aka auto-include. It's in every card game, every set. Perfect balance is a myth.
But also: 4 different decks in the top 4 seems to be a better diversity than you might proclaim.
You're clearly new to card games. The ONLY card that you named that is remotely problematic is Bucky. The primary reason for that is him having Ward, and the game not having enough lower cost characters that can attack ready characters. Set 5 will hopefully remedy that.
As for him being "problematic," it's more that he provides value by creating discard situations by playing characters to the board. So instead of playing a card to make an opponent discard, and that card only doing it once, Bucky let's you just play a character to the board, get the discard, and get an additional character to build up your board state. Which again, is ONLY a problem because of Bucky having Ward. It will get fixed sooner than later.
Until such a time that it is fixed, as boring and unfun as it is, the EASIEST AND BEST way to beat discard in ANY card game, is to dump your hand to the board as soon as possible. Ink, play, repeat.
If you've built a deck that doesn't have a curve, being able to play a card each turn, then you've built a deck that will NEVER be competitive. Keep your deck from having too many uninkables. I personally don't like going past 10-12 max unless there are very good reasons to push that number farther. A hyper aggro deck with a lot of low cost characters like Lilo, Maleficent, and Pinocchio usually has a lot of uninkables, but the cards have a very low cost so it's easy to play them. From there, you need to make sure that you have a reasonable number of 1 cost, 2 cost, and 3 cost cards, such that you can make a play every turn, or even multiple plays a turn. Try to limit your 5 cost and higher cards to only the most impactful cards that you have, and try to make sure that they are inkable, or keep the number of them low (1-2) if they are uninkable.
Ink, play a card, rinse, repeat, win.
@@Xoulrath_ telling someone all they have to do is dump their hand might be good advice for the matchup, but makes the game no fun.
new to card games? Tell that to both my rockstar enchanteds 😂 but thanks for the diatribe
@@aujew first of all, I already addressed the not fun part. Secondly, if you're half as skilled as you think you are, then you wouldn't be complaining about Bucky. You'd be complaining about the fact that, only four sets in, Lorcana is already borrowing some seriously bad habits from Magic. If Diablo wasn't a "free" shift, then the turn 1 Diablo, turn 2 Bucky, shift Diablo, force a discard, then draw on your opponent's turn play wouldn't happen in the first place.
And do yourself a favor and look up words before you use them. In no way was my ADVICE a verbal attack against you. What it was was ADVICE. Because, quite frankly, your netdecking, whiny self seemed to need some help. Now THAT comment is a personal attack. Have fun losing to Bucky while you netdeck and forget about all of the other cards that are vastly superior to that God hand that gets you both Diablo's and the Bucky and and action, and at least two Inkables. Later.
