- All New Nioh 2 Farming Method Found. In today's Nioh 2 Farming Guide I cover a method discovered by Glyphblade to find +5 Divine (green) gear regularly at the Kodama Bazaar and show how to farm them easily making use of the Kodama Bazaar in specific areas. The green items include green equipment, armor and weapons.

same man, i just recently found out that a sudama can also respec soul cores. This is so much better then farming millions of the boss lol
Yeah the quit and return thing was a tactic in the Dark Souls games as well. There's large sudama on certain maps that will respect gear and soul cores as long as you drop a core for sacrificing. And you can quit and return there too until you get what you want.
I just wanted to add that at the second shrine on a strong bond next to the small one eyed oni there's a body that you can loot which will give a definite saisetsu-shin sake drop

I found that as well. Also in the small “water section” right before that there is a corpse with Sacred Water x2
This is the most amazing thing ever. After an hour I have like 30 +5 items and it’s all stuff I want for my builds, not throw-away stuff. Best thing about this as well, once you start soul matching all this stuff you get max discount at the ‘smith for using items of the same name!

This method is amazing! I initially used my standard build for my first time through with no additional cups to start that mission. With this set up I was averaging 2-3 160+5 per every 5 items. I came back the next day after I acquired more rice for a 2nd run and this time I used my luck build and used 10 cups with the kodama bowl and blessing for equipment. This boosted my average from 2-3 to 4-5 160 +5 every 5 items for the first 6 rounds! Will need to test further to see if this average holds up with the luck build. Great content and delivery. This is good to know. Thanks. I've made the decision to keep all my gear at +9 for now. Already too op. 5 piece master Archer set for the 20% melee damage against shocked opponents and the 2 piece immokomei bonus that induces blindness on scorched enemies. Having bosses that used to give me trouble stumble around Blind and confused is really satisfying.
hahah yeah I love that! Also I agree, there is no need right now to level to the top with the current content. That said, we don't know how tough the new difficulty level will be yet!
@@Onos True. I relented anyway and farmed all my gear up to +10 using this method. What I'm worried about with new difficulty is the amount of super armour enemies will have. I thought it was a big problem in the first game. As you got up there in levels it got easier to get the toughness stat over 300 even with light armour. This made the spear and odachi pretty much useless - what's the point of having a long weapon when all enemies can just power through your hits. And with all the buffs and debuffs bosses had it became a case of melt or be melted and it made the whole thing feel cheap.

Absolutely Brilliant video, Onos ! Thank you so much for explaining everything so wonderfully, and for sharing it with your community, and the rest of the Nioh family, who may see this in the future. It's going to be so helpful to so many Samurai, now and going forwards. Just to add one last tidbit of general insight - when I was doing this myself, last night, I managed to pick up a crazy 25 +5 items , plus several +4's, and a total of seven +value ranged weapons, which are generally rarer to find 'in the wild'. I noticed, at one point, the "Previous Owner" of some Genmei Boots was the name of a player whose Rev Grave I had just fought, outside the Strong Bond Shrine, and who had been "Crushed to Death by 1-Eyed Oni" - as his death cause. What we are thinking is that the game is drawing upon the gear of players who have been slain In that Mission specifically, but that regardless of their actual Plus Values, the game is auto-scaling it down to +5's, as a limit - based on the "highest level Mission, You have cleared in that Difficulty" (Calamity's Pulse, in Dream of the Strong, now being our highest possible - as you noted). I even found two instances of Purple gear, at the Strong Bond Shrine last night -- 160+3 Warrior of the East boots and a 160+2 Yatagarasu boots. At first this confused me, but then I recalled that if it's working like we think, it was probably people playing through the game "normally", and having gotten to that region, after the New missions had been released. So they played through with probably mostly Divines, but maybe wanted to try out a new Set Bonus they'd never used before, so they simply tossed on a random Purple version of one part of that Set, to complete it -- then died wearing that, in the mission - and the game randomly picked that particular Exotic piece to be what appeared in the Bazaar, from their corpse (so to speak) ! // Anyways, love the video - and your interest - and am so happy that everyone is aided by this discovery.
(we'll be +10 by Weekend's End, mwhahaha !)
Thanks Alek. That's really interesting. I did assume that the game was scaling down anything over +5 but didn't want to say that (as technically, that would have been my speculation!)
Talking to Glyph again and over the next few days there s another video idea in the works. Lots of testing to be done but will speak about that with you guys off here - don't want to speculate too much on here as people will take any hints pretty seriously and don't want people wasting their time if anything I say is wrong before we're solid on the facts!
I did notice a couple of purple items too by the way at the Bazaar, so I think your theory must be correct. I do wonder if there will be a "limited stock" situation at some point, but I guess time will tell

I knew about the purple Kodama giving out 5 pieces of gear at certain shrines but never understood how it activated the purple kodama and never knew you could farm it for plus 5 gear until now.. nice 1...
yeh I literally knew nothing about it until a couple of days ago! credit to Glyph though for the find
@@Onos I used to sell alot of my gear at shrines when leveling up which is probably why it I bought gear off the purple kodama numerous times but again i never understood how it appeared until now..
How do you get gear upto plus 10 anyway?
Wow this really works great. I loaded up in divine rice and spent around 20 minutes going in and out of the level grabbing every item from the shrine. Walked away with around 40 +5 armor pieces and around 20 +5 weapons. Finally got my axe to +10 in no time. Thank you so much for the tip!!

That was really amazing, it worked like a charm, I raised 2 of my level 9 body gear from lvl 9 to lvl 10 in 30 mnts.. Which normally would have taken 10 hours or more of grinding for each one of them (20 hrs for both) 👍👍👍

If ethereals will be added and they will only be farmable at the start ( like when they were first introduced in nioh 1 2nd dlc), i think this method could become the best way to go for them.

@Onos Gaming, Im a bit late to this post and haven't read all comments so forgive me if someone has already mentioned this...im on way of the strong now and haven't beat the calamity mission yet but im still finding +5 gear at that strong bond shrine...may not be a prerequisite...I have beat it on my 1st play through but not the second...thought I'd let you know. Thanks for all the helpful vids on nioh 2 :-)

Onos Gaming yes I’m glad I don’t have to do that gauntlet to be able to farm this 😅...it was hard for me on way of the samurai I hate to see what it’s like on strong...that’s why I’m farming...I only have +7 gear and just managed to get my weapon to +8 😊👍🏾 anyway, glad I could help here. "Dialing it back," is SO what I needed; thank you! I am going to be 60 this year and I can't follow some of the creators as they tend to speak at warp speed and in a language that lends itself more to the experienced Nioh player. This is my first NG+ Nioh experience. Being that I can pick any mission in NG+ I'm inclined to move forward and complete pre-requisites missions you mentioned. How will the difficulty scale, won't I get crushed?

Stay in front of this shrine, go to system -return to title screen and reload, all items will be resettled 😊, buy and repeat

The higher your weapon familiarity the more divine rice and Amrita you get for offering it to the shrine

If anyone finds any other dark realm shrines with good stuff please drop it in the comments. I tried a couple other so far but not as good (mount Tenno, Hollow Fortress)
I think they all offer divines (in NG+) from my testing, some just offer lower level. I believe that the Brothers Blades mission on NG+can give up to +4

I did a test for up to +10 weapons.... I started one for 170 vs 160 on weapons... but got distracted lol - I'll go back and take a look. I need to spend some time looking at armor though

Hi, got a question, how do you reset the Kodama bazaar stock, Im trying to get the Shurikens, Caltraps, Kuni and bombs, but they really ever seem to drop? I barely started the second region, having a tough time leveling my ninjusu stuff without those weapons.
Hey dude. Have you tried saving at the shrine and then resetting the game? (shutting it down completely and then loading back in?)... That might work. Alternatively it mught be that each shrine has limited stock so you just need to push on to the next shrine?
Do I need to close application, and then open the game again and then I will be back at the shrine? Didn’t understand that last part about heading to main menu then re entering
Hey Zack, yeah that's pretty much it. You'll load back in at the shrine and you can check for more items

This is interesting but does luck affect the levels of the gear rolled and is gear removed from the collected pool of items when bought.

What's causing you to get full life from picking up a soul core?
Ummm... If I remember right it's a skill in the Shifting tree which gives you health back when you pick up a soul core... You can put multiple points in that skill. Hope that helps. Sorry I can't remember it's name right now!

Honestly, I don't think they should add Ethereal-tiered items to the game. Mainly because we don't need them in my eyes. Divines are more than enough to be really effective and overpowered. But ultimately, it's the developer's decision.
I guess it would depend on how hard the next difficulty level is. I trust the developers to know what they're doing though
@@Onos Yeah, they seem to be more competent with the difficulty balancing this time around. So hopefully, Dream of the Demon will be balanced. Though odds are, for us folk who grind our backsides off, it won't be that hard.

Great tip! I'll kill my self at shrine. No +5 but orange transferrable untouched omnyo/ninjutsu and attack. I'm having hard time finding orange transferrables, so hope these help someone.
It would be nice if everyone would create revenant at +5 shrine with rare and useful transferables.
Nice Idea dude... I'll be getting on the game later and I'll do that - BUT, from what I've read, right now (25th May), there is a problem with revenants - they don't seem to be refreshing. I have't seen anything official on this but a lot of people are talking about it not working when they're trying to trade

Waste of time, best farm spot is the blue mission lvl 215 with dem 6-8 homies.
Yeah dude thats a really good spot. I (personally) have never received a +5 drop from them though... this way is almost guaranteed way to get +5s and it takes about 2 minutes.
