Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir (French: Miraculous, les aventures de Ladybug et Chat Noir; also known as Miraculous Ladybug or Miraculous]) is a French CGI superhero / magical girl television series. The series focuses on two Parisian teenagers, Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste, who transform into the superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir, respectively, to protect the city from supervillains. The series is co-produced by French studios Zagtoon and Method Animation in association with Toei Animation in Japan, with the participation of TF1, AB Droits Audiovisuels, The Walt Disney Company France, Gloob, SK Broadband and EBS.
In modern-day Paris, teenagers Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste transform into superheroes when evil arises. Marinette and Adrien transform into their superhero personas, Ladybug and Cat Noir respectively, using magical jeweled objects known as the Miraculous. Not knowing each other's true identities, the two work together to protect Paris from the mysterious villain, Hawk Moth, who covets and attempts to steal their powers by using his akumas, butterflies infused with negative energy, to transform Paris' everyday citizens into supervillains when they go through negative emotions. All the while, the two struggle with their feelings for each other, not knowing each other's secret identities - Marinette is in love with Adrien but not Cat Noir, while Adrien is in love with Ladybug but not Marinette.
Félix Fathom is a major character of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, serving as the titular main antagonist of the episode "Félix", a major antagonist of Season 4, and an anti-hero of Season 5.
He resides in London, living as the son of the late American billionaire Colt Fathom and aristocrat Lady Amelie Graham de Vanily, the nephew of Emilie Agreste and Gabriel Agreste and the maternal cousin of Adrien Agreste. In "Representation", it is revealed he is a human-like sentimonster created by his father from his emotions of jealously in order to make his wife pregnant. He is also the nephew of Emilie Agreste and the late Gabriel Agreste as well as the maternal cousin of Adrien Agreste.
In "Gabriel Agreste", when he was convinced that Gabriel was Shadow Moth, Félix was nearly akumatized. However, the akumatization failed as Félix rejected it and managed to escape.
In "Emotion", Félix returned to Paris and, wanting to get rid of everyone in the city all while ensuring what he thinks is the happiness to those he cares about, he used the Peacock Miraculous which, with Duusu inhabiting it, allows him to turn into Argos, a peacock-themed Miraculous holder. He used his anger and hate to create Red Moon, a moon sentimonster that allowed him to cause anyone he wanted under its light to disappear and reappear, with a snap of his fingers.
Adrien Agreste, better known as Cat Noir, is one of the two titular main protagonists (alongside Ladybug) of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. He is a student at Collège Françoise Dupont and a fashion model. With his magical ring, inhabited by a Kwami named Plagg, he has the power of bad luck and can transform into the superhero Cat Noir (Chat Noir in the French version). In Season 3, he temporarily receives the Ladybug Miraculous from Tikki, which, when inhabited by her, can transform him into Mister Bug, a ladybug-themed superhero, and in "Desperada", he temporarily receives the Snake Miraculous from Ladybug, which, when inhabited by the Kwami Sass, can transform him into Aspik, a snake-themed superhero.
Marinette Dupain-Cheng is the primary protagonist of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. She is a student in Miss Bustier's class at Collège Françoise Dupont in Paris, France, and a budding fashion designer who wants to have her own brand one day. With the Ladybug Miraculous, when inhabited by Tikki, Marinette transforms into the superheroine Ladybug.
Gabriel Agreste (born Gabi Grassette) is the main antagonist of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. He is a famous fashion designer across Paris and the world who created and owns the fashion brand Gabriel.
With the Butterfly Miraculous, when inhabited by Nooroo, Gabriel transforms into Hawk Moth (Le Papillon in the French version, which translates to "The Butterfly"), who is the main villain of the first three seasons. He wanted Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses for himself in order to obtain the Ultimate Miraculous Absolute Power to reshape reality to bring back his wife after she used the damaged Peacock Miraculous.
I recognize that I'm kind of sanitizing Felix's actions by taking out the deal with Gabriel and the Red Moon incident, but I'm writing this from the perspective of knowing what the endgame for his character is. Plus, I don't think either really matter for his character because at no point do his past actions seem to affect what characters think of him in the long-term. And I like it better than the show's method of sanitizing his actions as 'He doesn't know any better.'
By didn't he just make Hawkmoth disappear?

If Adrien was actually human, this would be interesting for Felix's story as well, one of the things with Felix is that he doesn't trust humans and doesn't respect them because of his past experiences, so if Adrien showed kindness to Felix even if he found out the truth this could be enough to make Felix reflect, precisely because Adrien is a human but he still treated Felix with the same kindness as he would with other people, and that would make Felix want to resolve things more peacefully, at least for Adrien in the beginning since he didn't deserve anything that Felix caused.

I like Felix, but I admit that they speed things up a lot, season 5 has so much that there isn't enough time for everything, so instead of making Félix improve more slowly, he kind of became a completely different person after Emotion because they thought there wasn't enough time(even though I think it was possible to give time for him and they focused on things that weren't necessary).
Which would've been fixed if there wasn't so much filler in seasons 2-3 as they're essentially the same season on repeat and if they actually had the plot beats from seasons 4-5 in those previous seasons to flesh them out, they would be pretty solid.

They really crammed Felix's backstory into one episode. If the Agreste arc only lasted 3 seasons, he would've been a great villain for season 3, especially if Adrien accepts being a (kinda) sentimonster while Felix was enraged by it.
I don’t know- I think the Red Moon still works. Felix is clearly not mentally well at that point, and he sees all Senti-beings as living creatures. He treated the Red Moon with respect. It quite literally caused him to break down crying when he was forced to kill the Red Moon.
I don’t see why it doesn’t make sense he wouldn’t summon senti-biengs. That’s the whole purpose of the Peacock Miraculous. His beef with Gabe is just that he misused that power.
Felix didn't want anyone to be using the Peacock Miraculous at all. His problem is the idea of creating a being that you will just destroy later. Unless a reason is given as to why it's suddenly okay, he wouldn't create one for such a short term reason like Once Upon A Time. That's why he was in so much pain when he had to destroy Red Moon.
Felix really should've been the complete opposite to Adrien and be a senti-monster that Adrien's mother made to help her sister who had infertility problems. Felix would be given the knowledge of this from a letter written from his aunt to his mother and because he knows he isn't a human, he decides to claim the peacock miraculous to ensure nobody can control him. This in turn leads to him manipulating his mother into taking him to his uncle, under the guise that he wants to hangout with his estranged cousin. This would allow him to be involved in the story and due to Adrien's trusting nature, Felix starts destroying Adrien's reputation for being the real boy of the two.
Felix wouldn't fall for Kagami in my rewrite, he would fall for Bridgette, who was Marinette's childhood best friend that has come to stay with her family at this time. Felix would develop conflicted feelings towards humanity, due to his developing feelings and this would create a potential way for him to be redeemed, since he shows a caring side to Bridgette.
This is actually the direction I thought the show was going after Season 3, with sentimonster Felix being made as a copy of Adrien and the rings being *Felix*'s amok.

@@billykaplan9915 True, but I want to give Felix a reason to feel conflicted about humanity. Though now that I think about it, he could just develop a more brotherly bond with Adrien and chooses to not date. This could be due to the amoks not having any reproductive urges.

me personally i've always liked the concept of felix being the ml a lot more than it being adrien, oh also btw PV marinette is still marinette, she always was! "bridgette" is a fandom given name to seperate the two !
I don't know, I think PV Felix seemed like kind of a cliche edgelord.
Personally, I would have Kagami's mom not be so bad in the first place, since her being a villain instead of just uptight came out of nowhere.
Felix was my favorite character until Season 5. I think Emotion and onward, completely ruined his character by rushing his development and then backpedaling on some of that development through the creation (but mostly destruction) of Once Upon A Time.
Felix and kagami got no build up and came out of nowhere I don't like it at all sigh

I like what you've done because not only have you given Felix an actual consistent motivation, but you had the character grow from his experience and end up at nearly the same place as his canon counterpart. Given how "all over the place" Felix is even in the same episode (see "Emotion"), this is an impressive feat. I also love how you tie Felix to Adrien's development instead of Felix being yet another (eventual) ally to Marinette to the point where he was entrusted with her secret identity...in the same show that even chided Nino this season for blabbing about superhero identities..
The Nino thing was to make the brainless kitty jealous though
I feel like Felix's existence was for the sole purpose of making Chloe look worse in the same way Vesperia was, because Thomas Astruc really wants to make it clear to the audience that Marinette will always give special treatment to those who aren't Chloe, because "hE's gOoD aNd sHe'S nOt", and nothing bad Felix does matters because he isn't Chloe.
I just want to bring this up "Bridgette" as refered to for the PV was still always Marinette it's just a name given by the fandom to Anime/PV Marinette to seperate the two from one another
Not gonna lie. I had such high hopes for Felix. The same way I had such high hopes for queen bee and it seems the bias’s of the creator is putting the shows quality at great risk

honestly I feel torn about felix because I actually liked his characteriztion when he first appeared...he wasnt a good person...but he was interesting and by contrasting him with adrien...adrien actually felt more interesting because adrien wasnt dumb...he understood felix was messing with him but chose to pretend to be unaware of the pranks because he felt felix was upset and lashing out since felix didnt know how to deal with his hurt emotions properly...and while he was firmer with felix when it came to finding out what happened with his freinds...I actually respected that adrien stuck to not only [rotecting his friends from hurting his couisn but made sure to protect his cousin because thats the right thing to do...he wasnt above enjoying seeing felix get some karma on the rooftop but he stil made sure to protect him even when felix didnt really deserve it and he still made sure felix knew if he needed t talk adrien was there...and I enjoyed seeing adrien pretend to be mean and how felix and other slike plagg had assumed adrien was naive while WE know adrien was actually aware.
and it made a interesting contrast that adrien was willing to still be there for felix becuase he understood felix went through a great loss recently but how adrien's friends dont actually have a very strong relationship with adrien and turned against/doubted adrien pretty quickly over the 'adrien lashing out video that felix sent' despite how they knew adrien was going to have a rough day on his mom disappearance anniversary and how lots of them have lashed out or acted out over smaller things than that(including marinette).
I think it could have been interesting if they had used that felix is actually a pretty good actor where even gabe thought that felix was remorsful for a bit ad how felix had gotte away with them believing he was remorseful. it felt odd to me that adrien was so negative toward feli when felix returned when adrien had been so understanding when felix apologized.
I feel like it could have been interesting if they used how felix had assumed and kept assuming thatadrien was easily tricked and naive while WE know adrien actually isnt a fool and is honestly more aware than others give him credit for...since oddly enough I think adrien shines a bit when dealing with felix and lila or is compared and contrasted with...even if I do think they kept giving too many moments to felix rather than adrien.
I kindof wish they had used how felix and the mom seem more old money and moer classist at times since felix's mom was also willing to ignore that gabe didnt want to be touched and how the show has brought up gabe used to be working class who build his empire from scratch/new money.
honestly lowkey I kindof wish we saw felix try to prove the people around adrien are shallow or don't care about adrien properly since through most of season 4 we mostly saw adrien lose chloe as a friend, ladybug honestly wasnt really paying attention to chat's issues. kagami dumped him fairly quickly due to her idea of who adrien is and him no opening upin the way she wanst mixed with her knowing he lied about why he ditched their date. felix knew about marinett'e crush before adrien did...I kindo wish we saw him judge or or use that(I'm STILL angry how the show handled adrien finding ot about her cry on drien from teh icecream man in a outof character way for teh icecream man)...since as sweet at mari can be...her feelings do come across as kindof shallow through most of the show. felix falling for kagami honestly feels kindof weird since i'm still waiting for kagami to find out adrien is chat and to reflect on their breakup since he id have a good reason to lie.
I really love your rewrite ideas! It's fun to explore different ways the show can be changed and made better.
it would be a cool development and makes the peacock miraclous usable for felix. I he came to the conclusion to make senti monsters that he keeps as companions and has them on missions. Like his own base like a cave where he can use the senti monster heroically. Where they are used and not wipe from exisitence. Tbh i do not care about sentimonsters they only exists for a few minutes of life then disappears. Only so called sent monster i care about is adrien and kagami. Even then its sad that they aren't really real

I don't keep up with Miraculous except for your videos, but I can still say that this is probably leagues above what actually happens in canon, lol...good stuff

It was a side effect of Kagami becoming a Sentibeing. Someone needed to be responsible.
And like I said in a previous video, she was kind of a tool to give Gabe technology for season 5.

I would point out one thing; as far as I know, "Brigitte" wasn't a thing in Pv. She was Marinette back than too. Félix really was Félix, later becoming Adrien, but Brigitte was a name given by fans

@@ethancox9737 In regards to Felix, I can't think of a love interest that would have a more interesting narrative impact on him besides Kagami. She's the only character that really relates to his feelings of being controlled besides Adrien. And without that factor, pairing him up with any other girl feels like it would wind up being a cliche 'bad boy, good girl' story that would barely affect his plotline. And I'd rather he be single.
As for Kagami, I wouldn't really put her with anyone else besides maybe Chloe, largely because I think her being either Felix or Chloe's partner would allow her to be an even funnier character.
Basically, if I don't think I can get an interesting story out of them being in a relationship, I'd keep them single or make the relationship an irrelevant background thing.
