Pete is great at helping out!! It actually makes me quite sad that my boyfriend never got the chance to do this with me as my pony sadly passed from colic 5 years ago. They might pretend they're not keen on being surrounded by horses all day but they love it really😂 never a dull moment! So happy for you and Dora😊⭐️
Well done meg & Dora. Well ridden and such a brilliant ending score for Dora's first event. Few things to take back home with you meg to build up with dora including speed around x country course but still for Doras first event you should be proud of dora as well as been proud of yourself.

I thought her dressage test went really well for a first time on grass. 🥰 I immensely enjoyed watching her "pop 'round" xc. Going to 15, I saw her switch leads at least 3 times. ☺️ Once she gains more confidence, she will be the pony to beat. Well done, Meg! I love watching your vids. ❤️ Keep up the good work.

I love the y food especially the vanilla one as I have it on the morning that I go to the jazzercise class as it’s not a good idea to eat anything before I go to it.
I want to have a go estimating scores as well before watching 🥰 (from someone who has never evented...) 32 dressage. One pole show jumping and maybe 1 time penalty. A possible stop at the water jump cross country and 10 seconds of time penalties. Like Pete I don't know how seconds convert to penalties (I assume it's 4 for cross country, don't know if show jumping is calculated the same). So around 40-50 overall? Whatever the score, I'm sure Dora will have done fabulously
ok. my prediction, and I've stopped vid as you were in warm up, is 28 Dressage, one pole SJ and clear in XC w/ 2 time faults (either under or over). ok here we go. OK... all done. So much for predicting. Dora was really really good for her first ever event. She is beautiful and I thought graceful looking in the dressage ring. A positive future I'd say. Well done Elphick team! Pete's Eats or not! Oh, welcome the Geologist! Uk is a geologist and archeologist's dream! Plus of course any right horseman's dream! Stay safe. 💙🐎😎

I want to have a go estimating scores as well before watching 🥰 (from someone who has never evented...)
32 dressage. One pole show jumping and maybe 1 time penalty. A possible stop at the water jump cross country and 10 seconds of time penalties. Like Pete I don't know how seconds convert to penalties (I assume it's 4 for cross country, don't know if show jumping is calculated the same). So around 40-50 overall?
Whatever the score, I'm sure Dora will have done fabulously
20 for a stop cross country which is why Pete predicted a cricket score.

ok. my prediction, and I've stopped vid as you were in warm up, is 28 Dressage, one pole SJ and clear in XC w/ 2 time faults (either under or over). ok here we go. OK... all done. So much for predicting. Dora was really really good for her first ever event. She is beautiful and I thought graceful looking in the dressage ring. A positive future I'd say. Well done Elphick team! Pete's Eats or not! Oh, welcome the Geologist! Uk is a geologist and archeologist's dream! Plus of course any right horseman's dream! Stay safe. 💙🐎😎
