"LONG LIVE PRINCE MUSTAFA!" Magnificent Century Episode 115: • Magnificent Century Ep...
Hurrem's secret comes in the palace like a bombshell!
Brothers falls out even more since Suleiman supports Selim. The secret room gets revealed because of Fatma's great plot. As Rüstem wrathfully asks for an explanation from Hürrem, Sümbül faces with the bitter truth. Hürrem loses Suleiman's trust. Sparrowhawk spares Nisa's life. Meanwhile, Nurbanu gives birth in Manisa. As Hürrem tries to get right with Suleiman, he makes a big surprise.
Mustafa and Bayezid gets angry because Suleiman supports Selim. While Hurrem gets worried because of Bayezid's commitment to Mustafa, the commitment between two brothers gets stronger since Bayezid asks for help from his brother. However, Rüstem has a new plan for Mustafa.
The golden years of the Ottoman Empire come to life in a television series. The life of Suleiman the Magnificent is preparing to be a guest in your homes in all its glory. Get ready to experience the era with ambition, loves, wars and all the struggle.
Prince Solomon, with his closest man, Ibrahim Pargam Ibrahim receives the bad news in a hunt. His father Yavuz Sultan Selim Khan passed away. Prince Suleyman sets out for Istanbul without waiting. Prince Süleyman quickly reaches the capital. He attends the culus ceremony without waiting. His life changed in one day. He started his life as Sultan Süleyman.
Meanwhile, a galley loaded with slaves coming over the Black Sea is heading towards Istanbul. The hottest of the slaves is not yet aware that he is on a journey that will change his destiny. He is rebelling helplessly to return.
Sultan Süleyman wants to show what kind of sultan he is by the commands he gave on the first day of his sultanate. But not everyone will like these decisions. Sultan Süleyman does not hesitate to challenge all of Europe with the messages he sends.
Alex, despite all his rebellion, is brought to the Topkapi palace. His attitude attracted the attention of Valide Sultan from the first moment. But it won't be long before Alex learns the rules of the palace. He chooses a great target. Alex, Sultan Suleyman's first night on the way to attract his attention. Sultan Suleiman's wife Mahidevran just arrived from the palace of Manisa. He is looking forward to seeing his wife.
Ama Alex’in sarayın kurallarını öğrenmesi uzun sürmez. Kendisine büyük bir hedef seçer. Alex, Sultan Süleyman’ın karşısına çıktığı ilk gecede onun ilgisini çekmeyi başarır. Sultan Süleyman’ın eşi Mahidevran ise Manisa sarayından yeni gelmiş. Eşi ile görüşmeyi sabırsızlıkla beklemektedir.

If, in the present situation, he was ruthless enough to go ahead, dethrone his father, eliminate his enemies like Rustam & Sokulu, not only would he survive, but the Ottoman empire might have seen better days.

From Suleiman position this was game over he cannot trust his son who broken big taboo, disregarding his orders, etc. even when have only good intentions also with his rising popularity all this was direct threat to Suleiman rule and stability of nation. This was exactly reason for fratricides and overall iron fist rule because even if Mustafa was fair and pure his position could be exploited by others.

Mustafa should have overthrown Suleiman like Salim 1 did to his father just a generation ago.
Keeping in mind that man was not fit for the throne, a sultan who cant resist a woman is a real threat to the sultanat.
One of the biggest duty of a ruler is to ensure a decent successor, and suleiman failed there miserably.
He could not even learn from the death of ibrahim pasha that how much state suffered from his loss i.e the magnitude of acheivments falled drastically after him.

Mihrimah, what could even hurrem had done in this situation?! 😅 She along with rustem, their supporters, and the sultan himself had to be scared sh*tless with their tails between their legs.....mustafa had the army and fleets on his side, no way they could've stopped him, they only could've watched as he took the throne.....maybe they could've tried begging lol.......honestly mustafa, you should've, it would've been so easy here.....to claim the throne and save your life 🤦‍♀️....in real life, I pose this question too: he had to have had many opportunities with all the support he had from the soldiers and the people, so why didn't he?? Did he really trust/love his pig of a father that much, was he too righteous??

    • @kayodewa

So you need to ask a few more questions "did he really have the janissary support 100%"? This scene is so entertaining but wouldn't have been allowed to happen. The soldiers on Suleiman's side would have been more than the ones he was bringing to Topkapi. Remember also, Topkapi was a medieval fortress. Will Mustapha have been able to lead the army in a siege situation? Remember he had zero experience in warfare, leadership or diplomacy.
