Introducing a dog to your home can be such a daunting experience, not knowing what they will destroy, if they will potty all over your house, if you will be able to get a good night's sleep. We adopted Mouse when he was 7 months old, while he is still considered a puppy and yet big enough to reach everything. Before the adoption, we had a discussion on house rules that we would like to maintain throughout our pawrenting journey. Remember to discuss this with all the members of the household as having a pet is a family experience and not just your own pet!
