So I was wondering if it would be wrong for a white women to wear one...? And please no rude or hateful comments; I'm just curious... My daughter is mixed and I'd love to get her one (and be able to explain the why behind it when she's older one day...I want her to be proud of every aspect of herself. So if anyone has anything that I could tell her one day that would be lovely and much appreciated :)) I'm also tempted to get a mommy and me one, but I didn't want to offend anyone. Cause I'd mostly wear it as a fashion statement type thing, and I think I've seen some where that some frown upon that...And I don't want to offend anyone...

Tried doing it on my daughter tonight and oh my gosh was it a hot mess :'( Probably doesn't help that she's a squirmy 7 month old though, and I have no idea what I'm doing!...Any advice? I'm trying to do like the bun on the forehead type deal... I tried to do the low bun on the back for me and that didn't go too well either... :( Ugh.
You'll be beautiful & so will your baby girl. Not going to sugarcoat & act like you won't get odd stares but fuck it! There's enough culture to go around boo .

I really hope this helps with my protective styling. I am horrible at it and my hair is so soft and fine that it doesn't last at all. Braids and crotchets are too much on my hair. What material are your scarfs if you don't mind me asking.

It's super tight. Try lying you hair down,damp, with some gel, and right after put it on. It'll stick to your hair, but it will stay.
