I love how scarves are making a comeback! A truly classic article of clothing.
Me too!!! Scarves are timeless!
And I have a hundred!
@@americafirst9144can u show me please
@@americafirst9144I cannot stop buying silk scarves regardless that I have a hundred 😁
I’ve always loved scarfs. I find them VERY elegant… indeed! Thank you beautiful lady!
Not sure how this landed in my feed recommendations, but here I am.
Now, this is what a great tutorial video is supposed to look like. No BS, straight to the point, just easy to quickly digest and understand! You've got my subscription! Very helpful and gave me some fun new scarf ideas! Thank you and well done!
Oh, I’m so glad you liked it 😊
@@MarianaZelenjukI totally agree with the above comment. Best tutorial I’ve seen on scarves. Will now start my collection.
Best scarf wearing tutorial I’ve ever seen! Thank you for going slowly and talking through the details of each knot.
I haven't seen women wear scarves for many years. But Mariana wears them well. It's fun to see all the creative ways she finds to use this forgotten accessory.
This is the best scarf tutorial I've seen yet. Thank you.
Beautiful scarf tieing styles..
Thank you.
I never leave home without a scarf.
I enjoy the comfort of a beautiful scarf. I love my neck to feel warm. I also enjoy my scarf as a headband when it's very windy. Then in the rain , I'm happy with my scarf even if I don't have my umbrella.
I drape my scarf over my shoulders when I go to church wearing a strappy dress. Then I feel properly dressed on a hot summer's day.
Thank you I loved your video.
Thorough, to the point, and just fantastic lessons in tying scarves in a variety of ways. Grateful!!!
I love how scarves add a touch of elegance to an outfit. Thanks for the inspiration. I must make an effort to wear mine more!
Thank you Mariana for making scarves a fun yet classy fashion accessory!
My grandmother always does the ring and scarf trick, it’s great for dramatic big rings
Lovely!
Thank you for the video. I am really loving your classic styling tips. I love your fresh perspective about using fast fashion and vintage resources.
Hi Ursula! Thank you for watching 😉
I love scarves and wear them all the time. I have 100s of them and love love them all. I am always buying scarves wherever I go. They are the BEST way to expand your wardrobe and vibe! Besides that they don't take up much space and are super easy to pack and store as well as launder and maintain. Absolutely THE BEST investment accessory for your own personal look.
Please show me your scarf
I’m a scarf person also! In my bedroom I have an iron hall, tree and that is where I display my collection of scarves and it has become part of my decor; It makes me happy when I’m in my bedroom!🧣
Watching your TH-cam, I learned a few new ways to tie my silk scarves. My favorite way of wearing a scarf is in my hair as a headband or covering the elastic on my ponytail. Another way is as a shoulder covering when wearing a sleeveless dress in a cold dining area or theater. I take my larger scarf, fold it in half (from a square to a rectangle), and tie small knots where the two corners meet, then put my arms through the knotted openings (like putting on a coat. It's just enough to cover the shoulders, but the beautiful design of the scarf is in full view from behind.
These accessories take any bag to the next level, I'm obsessed with them! *amzaccs* for the cutest finds.
I love scarves. So happy to see them coming back into their own. Great presentation. Thank you for some wonderful ideas.
Of course you ARE so elegant, any scarf will make you look so fantastic!! Thank you so much to share such simple ways but look great.
I love your unbridled enthusiasm for scarves. It got me more excited about them 😂❤
Thank you so much for speaking slowly, clearly and showing me cleaning step by step HOW to fold
…
Looking foreword to learning much more from your video
Thank you Mariana for your Tutorial. I have a drawer full of scarfs of all sizes. I gave a few away, just because I never knew how to properly fold them. Now I'm inspired to wear them and never give another scarf away. Great Video!
Wear them!! They deserve to be taken around town 😝
Love using a ring to style the scarf. Never thought about that before. Great video.
Thank you!! I want to get a proper scarf ring soon, but in the meantime, a traditional ring works wonders 😉
Thanks! This brought to my mind memories of my Mom and my older Sister wearing their many scarves. You look, and they always looked, so elegant. They used broaches, pins, and earrings as you described. This was in the.mid 1950's. Women wore hats and gloves when dressing up and always when going to church.
They both had several of those Pill Box hats with veils like Jackie Kennedy wore. I remember that they would fuss with those veils in the same manner as they did their scarves to create different looks. Mom had a fabulous eye for color and color coordination. They wore the veils many different ways. Over one or both eyes, entire face, back over top of hat. They also wore those villager wide brimmed hats with or without high crowns.
Some of their scarves were almost transparent with just a hint of color, while others were opaque. Those were mostly worn to funerals. They also wore bandeaus and lace mantillas. The hats and bandeaus had decorative and often fanciful attachments. Mom especially would change out the veils and decorative bits and pieces creating a totally different style or effect. I thought that they were very creative and thrifty when they completely changed out the look and color schemes.
Some of the more fanciful became wall art or decorative touches on furniture and shelves. I'm not sure if they had lots of hats or just a few that they changed the look of.
I was too young to remember.
I was very definitely a tomboy and did not have enough interest to learn their hat art or make-up techniques or skill with creating elegant hairdos.
I'm so impressed of this video that I only came to the comment section to read if others are that impressed. It's game-changing knowledge, people like me, without much imagination, never can creat by themselves. Thank you!
My Mother taught me the versatility of adding scarves to a simple wardrobe. I loved this video and will try some of your ideas beginning tomorrow. Thank you.
Love all the ways you demonstrated scarf-wearing! Can't wait to try these...
Thank you, Anna! Let me know which one was your favorite 😉
I looove how you styled the large scarf with a belt!! Sooo many great ideas! Thanks for the tips
I love the elegant, classic style and your content provides fresh and practical tips!! I'm so glad I found your channel ! 😊
Hi Christina! What a lovely message. Thank you! I love how we’re forming a sort of classic ladies club here on the channel 💁🏻♀️
Right, the same for me
Please show me ur scarf
Love the larger scarf ideas! so lovely.
Scarves are a must when I travel. They just help me look more put together.
I can’t tell you what a *wealth* of information this video is. I mean it was just look after look… after look! A condensed and digestible video that was a lot of fun. I will keep coming back to this when I need inspiration. ❣️
Thank you so much! So glad I could inspire you in some way. Let me know if there’s anything you want to see on the channel 😉
C est vraiment regrettable vos longs discours’…..’montrez nous simplement comment porter ces foulards à l instar des vidéos asiatiques..‘je me suis arrêtée à moins de la moitié de la vidéo….saoulante
@@MarianaZelenjuk Thank you Mariana, beautifully presented. You are a great inspiration to us. Please can you show us how to tie the trench coat belt at the back when wearing it unbuttoned?
You are very good at this! Great demonstrations, great presentation and your manner is so pleasant and appealing !☺️🙏
Love this. Thank you. I love scarves too, but i stopped wearing them years ago. I am going to get back wearing them because I can see they add so much personality to an outfit. I also see people tie scarves around their purses (the clear plastic ones in the 20s where you would put a color scarf inside a white clear plastic purse)...
Thank you, I see women’s wear scarves all the time in the area I live. I love the scarves. I picked up two last night. I am excited to start wearing scarves again. I do have a collection of scarves that I’ve never worn because they’re so pretty.
You can have money but no taste. You can have little money and have taste, as demonstrated by this lovely young lady with the low-priced scarves that look lovely on her.
Amen to that, I own probably 40 scarves! ❤
Your true love of scarfs comes across throughout !
You look Gorgeous in every scarf wearing choice!
First let me say you have a classic look even without a scarf on .
Your lean face , and long neck and
Physicality look so perfect. Your classic T shirt perfect ,the blazer perfect, the neutral colors, perfect!
My favorite favorite woman and actress: Audrey Hepern , Breakfast at Tiffany’s . Her style was classic with a modern take . And importantly, She wore it well. All through her life a natural.
You are a natural also.
In the seventies and eighties when I worked midtown in Manhattan,
It was fashionable to wear scarfs as beautiful accessory to an outfit.
Also , it was standard to dress up,
and look like thought was put into
Dressing . I MISS the days when
It was cultural ,to all dress “up”.
Thank you for tutorial, well done.
Thank you for the sweet words Lorraine! And let’s bring back the art of dressing up 😊
I loved wearing scarf when I was a student. For some reaon, I stopped wearing them. A friend of mine pointed out that such accessory is really elegant. How could I have forgotten to wearing scarves! I really like your video especially your tip to use earing clip for extra decorative touch. (I love earings!)
Mariana I can’t tell you how much I loved your video and how inspiring you are. I have always really liked scarves but had no idea how to tie them so beautifully as I see on others. You covered so many bases and helped me out so much! I’ll try and give you an update in a couple of months as to my new look, thank you you are beautiful inside and out!
Julie, I’m so glad you found it helpful! Enjoy your scarves 😉
Really loved your video with so much details- to cover up the label, .and so practical!
Smart, classy, relaxed, funny Mariana. And pretty 🤩
Scarves are such an easy way to upgrade an outfit. I have some from. The 70's. I have several scarf clips I bought in the 80's. I have holiday scarves and in the past I bought them as souvenirs. My favorite scarf is a designer scarf I bought in Paris. I adore them and like others I'm pleased they are back in style.
I love the way you styled the striped scarf with the buttoned down shirt. So glad I found your channel! I have worn scarves since 1971 and have several looks. You have shown me more ways to style my scarves. I have subscribed to your channel. Thank you for this video.
Oh, you must have a fabulous scarf collection, Kary Ann!
I love love love the skinny with the loop tie option? So elegant!
All the ways to wear a beautiful scarf and I can’t ever get out the door with he over the neck tied in the back without beeping the ties to the front, like the second option in the first simplest way. It just reminds me of when people in shows tie on those big bibs for bbq or seafood and it’s all I see, a big expensive silk bib. Lol
You are so classy and polished, l love scarfes. Thank you for sharing
After watching your video now my next step is to purchase the scarf 🧣👍beautiful presentation ❤️👍👍👍. I love the classic old school styles ❤❤❤
You will not regret it!
I love this video!!! I'm excited to revisit my scarf collection again.
So glad you liked it! I always find myself playing around with my scarves, exploring new ways to tie them… the possibilities are infinite!!
I love wearing silk scarves, they always look so classy. Thank you for the great ideas for tying them, I need to up my game...lol
Love this channel. I’m somewhat of a scarf fanatic, truly a underestimated way to make a classic wide leg trousers and a cashmere top, stylish and pulled together. I really couldn’t recommend Hermes scarfs enough, my personal favorite is to wear a matching scarf and twillie on my bag. Great personalization service to. Really enjoy the videos thanks
I really want to get an Hermès scarf soon. It's one of those special items that every woman deserves to have in their wardrobe. Maybe this year 😉
@@MarianaZelenjuk really enjoy your videos, so refreshing. Your probably one of a handful of Chanel that’s interesting and different ( in a good way) and I look forward to catching up on your older videos. Yes Hermes are expensive, definitely forever pieces. Keep up the good work with your Chanel, maybe at milestone subscribers 😊
Thank you for showing us the creative ways of wearing scarves. Also want to say that you're really beautiful and gorgeous.
Oh, thank you! ☺️
I have always loved scarves, but not only have I never known how best to use them, but I was too shy to make such a dramatic fashion statement. I am very excited to learn how to wear them in my hair.
Fantastic! I love that you emphasize how accessible this style is. My style is androgynous and scarves work with every gender presentation as well! Also you are so charming and warm.
You are the best. I am going to save this. Oh and you are beautiful. I agree, that this is the best tutorial I've seen. Thank you.
Thank you! You are lovely. Love the old Hollywood look!
I LOVE SCARVES! Love your chanel and it gave me a few reminders of other ways to wear my scarf collection. I have been collecting scarves most of my life, so for a multi decade timeframe I have been collecting, and wearing scarves. Thankfully I have been able to collect Hermes scarves to add to my collection. I wear them almost everyday, either on me or on a bag. I do really love your crossover top and belted ideas too. And your ideas using jewelry to "tie" scarves. All great information to share. Also, I think Ferragamo has very beautiful scarf designs too.
Lovely, useful video, I subscribed too.
Your scarf collection must be to die for! 🤩
Fabulous tips! I grew up in the 60s where the ladies in my family would go out the door without a hat gloves and a scarf! I’ve continue the tradition, and find that scarves always make me feel more dressed up and help my pale olive skin to brighten.. I think I have more scarves than clothes and jewelry, but that’s OK! They’re my best friends! Thanks for the tutorial. I hope to watch more.
A Child of the 1950s myself & I grew up the same way! Hats, gloves, scarves the whole deal! That one perfect leather Handbag that they used for years bc they took care of it! Shoe polish was used regularly! I look at the Pictures of that era & remember the Beautiful Women who cared about how they looked & the Image they projected! It was all about QUIET Class! My Mother was one of those Women! We dressed up just to go shopping! As Teenagers we wore curlers in our hair at night bc we never wanted any one to see us in them! A SCARF went over the "Rollers"!
CLASS never dies & a Silk Scarf over the most simple clothing is always CLASS, no matter who you are!
I hope you Continue to Enjoy your Beautiful Scarves for Many Years to Come!
😊💐🇺🇸
Fabulous video! Very inspiring! Have you done a video on wearing pashminas?
OMG this video just keeps getting better and better!
Being able to tie a scarf so it looks elegant is not my forte so I will refer back to your video and practice, practice, practice. So many great ideas - thank you very much!
Thanks so much for sharing this and making me feel better about my scarf obsession!
The most I love all of styles you go with the rings. Very very cute & nice. Thank you for sharing 😊
I love scarves and wear them with my coat in winter, tied to my neck in the fall and spring. I have a nice collection of silk scarves some are vintage. Love them.
Thank you so much for sharing. I agree that scarves make women look very elegant.
Gorgeous ideas how to wear scarves thanks for sharing with us
I have scarves going back to the 60s and still buy them. But I rarely wear them, which I will now remedy. Great video, thanks
👏 Amazing addition to wardrobe. My Mom brought me scarves from Italy. Yum.
Tnx for such amazing ideas ..how to style scarves on the neck..love it
.❤
Great tutorial! I would love to see a video from you talking about essential pieces of jewellery to own 😊
That sounds like a fun video to do actually! Adding it to my list 😉
Love it! A beautiful silk (or high-quality synthetic) scarf is so chic and versatile, a la the glam stars of the '50s. I REALLY hate the trend of recent yrs. of thick, bulky "scarves" piled around the neck; it makes the wearer look like they're being suffocated by a rug.
I've always found tying scarves very complicated, enjoyed your video on this!
I don’t miss a day a week *amzaccs* This show..😂😂😂😂
I love the outfit you have on, the earings and eyes shadow with the top and your colouring goes so well together.
Thank You so much for doing this video!!!! Very very helpful!!!! I love colorful scarfs. I have plenty of them: small, medium, and large!!! I am an accessories kinda girl!!! Ties, scarfs, hats, jewelry, gloves, etc!!!!!
Thank you for watching!! And yes, accessories are a must!!!!
Thank you. This is very helpful since I love scarfs.
This was helpful and you were very entertaining.
Thank you.
Thank you for the tutorial. I have many scarves but do not know how to make them fancy. Most of mine are long scarves, do you have any video on these?
Wow!!! Oh my God! You are really amazing!!! I love your different ways of playing with scarves... And, you are so cute and chic with those scarves!!! Love!!!
This is soooo helpful! ❤love incorporating the ring into the knot as I’m still learning how
Interesting neat and to the point! Loved it. Keep going!!
I found your video when I was shopping online for silk scarves. I am slowly switching my wardrobe to whites and neutrals and would LOVE to bring scarves in as a way to give that nice pop of color. But I had absolutely NO IDEA how to style them. You gave me so many fantastic ideas! I almost fainted when you belted the scarf with the jacket, it looked so fantastic!
Christy, that sounds lovely! A wardrobe with nothing but neutral and beautiful scarves 😍
Mariana, you are a treat! I enjoyed watching your video very much! I have just begun collecting vintage brooches to wear with my massive cache of scarves so I am very happy to have found your video with ideas for wearing brooches, earrings and rings with scarves. While scouring vintage and resale shops I have come across single earrings (usually clip back) that are gorgeous but I didn't know what I could do with them. Now I know! I will collect the vintage single earrings for wearing with my scarves! My next adventure will be searching for vintage scarves!! You are the best!! Thank you Mariana
Oh, your scarf collection must be fabulous!!!
Love ❤️ this video! Thank you for all the wonderful ideas! Adding it to my Saved folder 📂 ❤🙏🏻
I took your advice and bought a pair of long, brown leather gloves (Vikander from Amazon, nice for the price), and have a cream cape ordered. (I like lighter neutrals more than dark ones). I’m looking forward to my first elegant cape outfit!
Hi Kimberly!!! I’m so glad you got a pair too! I bet you’ll look super chic 💁🏻♀️
Thanks for your video on how to tie scarves. I am getting old and want to cover up my neck as much as possible. Now I have some ideas of how to do it. You looked pretty in every scarf you put on. I will try your ideas and see if they work for me. Now I need to find some pretty scarves.
Thanks for the tutorial. You reignited my love for scarfs.
I wanted to see your mess of scarves. I like being scared! Lol - I love all your tips. I have some scarves but was clueless till now. Thanks bunches!
Thank you! Scarves are fun and you have presented a beautiful tutorial.
I liked your demonstration, not too fast and therefore easier to follow and use. 🥰
I will definitely start using scarfs more. I actually picked up 3 today. The me for the great tips ❤
Seriously love this tutorial. I recently got into Echo scarves because I love the patterns and the prices for certain. I honestly don’t know if the silk scarves I just bought are high quality or not with regard to how the silk is woven. But I really appreciate your advice and instructions. Well done!
Beautiful video and very useful information. I love my scarves. I have simple scarves from a local inexpensive store.
The best scarf tying video on YT!
Oh, thank you!
Thank you. So helpful. I love scarves and have quite a few but really didn’t know how to make the most of them. I’ll start practising tomorrow!!!!❤
Your show was great. You had great ideas and the resources were a little bit of genius. Thank you. If I were as tiny as you I could use all of your ideas. Boohoo. Some I would need to tie 👔 two scarves together.
Great work in this video! I watched the whole thing and love the versatility of styles.
Great video! Some really mind-blowingly chic simple styles. Thank you!
Amazing video. You have massive knowledge and share so many wonderful tips about scarves! Thank you!
I just love this tutorial! Mariana is charming, funny, and clever. I've watched this many, many times. I inherited an Hermes scarf and that gift prompted me to go looking for help in how to wear it. This has helped me to wear my Hermes and all my other scarves in oh so many different ways! I've shared this video with my daughter who has passed it on to her friends too!
I'm so glad you found it helpful, Gillian! And and Hermès scarf? Sounds dreamy!
Thank you for teaching me so many ways to wear a scarf , I got it
I also love scarves and broaches . I must have over 30 scarves and can’t resist to buy another one when I see one that I like.
Loved your tutorial! Inspired me to do more with my scarfs. Thank you!
