Looks really clean. Purchased my 182 in November. Going to use it as a fast road car/daily. I only do 14 miles per day. I've removed the rear seats, isofix, and seatbelts. Fitted a full length mat which definitely helps with the road noise. I've refreshed the brakes, and calipers. Also had all belts and water pump replaced. I've also fitted a Sabelt wheel, costly but 100% worth it. It's criminal that Renault sold the car with the stock wheel. Look forward to future videos.
Such great little cars that just a few tweaks can be great - looking forward to getting my Sabelt steering wheel fitted 👌 Next video should be online next week 👍
@@stoneautomotive They did nothing with it, the rights and tooling etc is all back up for sale....buy it back and you'll make a killing, they're sought after like crazy. Tessa motorsport make a piss poor copy too!
If you crash them harnesses are going to compress your spine and paralyze you they need to be adjacent to the back of the seat not directly to the floor
please do not drive with your harnasses mounted this way, like Scotty says: it wil brake your spine. I had them mounted the same in my Clio RS and i got the advice to romove them.

great vid mate - look forward to the next one. I used to love these and remember your silver one.
Thanks Edd, the silver 172 is the one I miss the most out of all the cars I've sold in the past! you live & learn lol...
Look forward to updates. Got a cup myself tucked away that's a toy/ongoing project so will be interested to see what you do.
Should really take shape over the coming weeks so hopefully plenty of inspiration on the way, really needs to be finished by April (fingers crossed)
nice car, i need to make more on my clio to make it more personal.
Thanks - certainly come along way since I purchased it 😎
Did you use lacquer to respray the inside? Literally respraying mine right now and doesn't look as good as yours atm
great video about to start my cup aswell
That time of year for many of us - out in the cold tinkering 😁
Nice vid!
Hiya mate are the intakes still available would you know?
Cheers
Mike
Hi, I no longer make/supply them but I know a company was looking to put them back in production as we sold the copy right on.

Indeed, got it fitted yesterday - Heat shields & exhaust all seized so was a long day lol... will in part 3.. if I haven’t burned it 😂
Where did you get the paint from?
Hi, just off eBay, searched custom car paint and gave them the paint code, 2 days later the cans arrived 👍
@@stoneautomotive cheers mate
Pretty sure those seats can’t be used at the ring
Sadly I did discover this today ☹️
You can if it's a closed track day. Not on the tourist days though unfortunately.
link of the paint? thanks
Hi, was just off eBay but any paint mixer should be able to create them 👍
@@stoneautomotive you buy only the paint or lacquer too?
Paint & lacquer but only applied a dust coat of lacquer as I didn’t want the interior to have a gloss finish
@@stoneautomotive i will do the same. Thaaanks!!!
