I think she forgot to install the hose before installed the caliper. I was wondering how she was going to do it afterwards, but they cut that part out. If you try to install the hose afterwards, it will be twisted. Also, I disagree with not putting grease on the calipers or on the parts of the pads that rslide on the calipers, especially if you live in an area where cars rust.

Hello! How long do we need to let the fluid drip from the bleeder screw? When done bleeding,, would I go ahead and bleed the opposite caliper or pump the brake pedal in between? Thanks for any advice!
I got 2 quotes from mechanics at $160 to replace front pads and $160 to replace rear pads. I ended up replacing mine myself. 2010 Mazda 3i. Took 30 min cost $40 for new pads. I made sure not to break the bleeder screw. Easy Peazy.

Yes......i noticed that to.......it was too obvious....to bad. I make it a point to handle the pads by the edges or at that point use clean bare hands. Hope no one ended up driving that car. Otherwise a pretty good video.

You absolutely *MUST* use the caliper grease in the bracket ear grooves. Dirt and grease can be pushed away. Rust build-up cannot. And silicone paste isn't used for water resistance, any grease has that property. Silicone is used on slide pins cause it's the only type that won't swell rubber.

Those rotors are only beneficial for racing or if you happen to drive regularly on steep grades. For normal driving it's a gimmick and just for aesthetics. The holes and slots are for venting gas between the pad and rotor but that only occurs at extreme temperatures. Redundant for the daily driver.
These calipers are used by Mazda, Ford and others. I did a 2012 Mazda 3I and afterwords the parking brake didn't work. I am at a lost as to why? I read on the web of others with the same problem. I need to know what happen before I order new calipers, any ideas?
If you watched her other video for the rear she installed the pads backwards. There's a difference between the inner and outer. The inner pads have pins that lock into the piston to keep it from rotating which is part of their self-adjustment.
