So sad, sweet, and amazing this song. I am a bit "cold" naturally and distrustful of many people due to personal experiences/struggles. This song "warms" me somewhat and speaks to me in a visceral way, I never had close friends or anything like that and the robot makes me think of that and how I can't trust most people but yet knowing if I ever found someone I could completely trust/engage with I would "give them my heart" and enjoy our time together even if the sacrifice ends my own life. Also this song/video always makes me cry.

I wasn't really paying attention to the lyrics as my hearty was being smashed to pieces by the saddest vid I've ever seen, but to me the video symbolized sacrifice and love because it looked like the robot killed himself by giving his heart away. But at the same time I think the video was emphasizing that those few years with the kid was a fuller life than the life of solitude. Just my thoughts

So my little girl loves the whole robot thing so a few years back showed this to her and she bawled. I felt bad but then I realized this kid has such a pure heart and soul and since then I’ve kept it that way. First time in life I’ve felt like I have really done my job to the best of my ability. It’s overwhelming sometimes to think that there was one thing or person that has made life worth it for you.
