Noel would've been a successful solo artist without Liam. Not to the same extent, but it's not hard to imagine NG getting a record contract, at some point, due to his longstanding relationship to the music scene in Manchester.

He was in his wrting prime around this time. You can almost hear the excitement in his voice as he records these demos.
