Noel just knew back then that Oasis were going to succeed. I remember an interview he did when he said that he thought that album number three was going to be the big one, and the runaway success of MG took even him by surprise. He had a plan right from the start, and deliberately held this one back for what he thought would be Oasis's magnum opus, even though it was fully written before they were even signed. Select magazine published a transcript of the famous 1994 NME interview (the one that gave us Wibbling Rivalry) of content that never made the published piece. In it, Noel said something like "I've got a song called All Around the World, which is going to be massive, but we're not going to record it yet because Creation haven't got the money". Owen Morris said that Noel's songs were always fully arranged before they were recorded "like fuckin's Abba", and you can hear it here. The chords, lyrics, melody structure and even arrangements are all identical to the version that ended up on Be Here Now. That's vision.
Reminds me why I loved Oasis as much as I did. We always got a 2 for 1 deal when an album was released. There was Oasis, and the releases like this that looking back were a prequel to NGHFB. Each was amazing in their own right. I truly wish Noel would go back to doing solo acoustic performances. Even before TH-cam or even MP3’s I got so much joy out of collecting bootleg tapes showcasing this guy’s angst expressed with just his voice and a guitar. Oasis was entertaining. Noel was, and will continue to be so much more. Thank you for posting this.
I think Noel is a good singer and he brings a different feel to some songs including this one but this is definitely a song that was written to be sang by Liam! he absolutely owns this song!
This is a cool version. Be Here Now is my favourite Oasis album and I love how every song is a lengthy jam and they just fookin rock, d'ya know what I mean?

Clocks don't always use IV because it can be confused with VI, so they take a liberty and use IIII instead. Where I am right now, there are two clocks with Roman numerals, and they both use IIII. :-) Addendum: I looked it up and some people say they use IIII for symmetry, but the above is what I was taught in school. ;)

Yeah thats right, the first two verses, bridges and choruses are in B, then the Na Na Na’s brings it into the key of C and then the ‘its gonna be ok’ part brings it into the key of D to end the song
Microwave Noel himself hates this album. You can hear he didn't put much effort into it. everything on it sounds like other Oasis songs but more boring. Don't understand how some people don't see that
It's probably because he wasn't getting completely and utterly obliterated on millions of pounds of drugs every other week or whatever. Noel might hate it yeah, but he also hates songs like Sunday Morning call which I happen to love.

Oasis was both brothers what they both brought to it. Whoever sang or wrote it means fuck all! Without each other there would be no oasis
The birth of all around the world.
No, it actually existed in 1992, there’s a video called oasis rehearsal 1992 where they sing All Around The Word in 1992

no they didn't you idiot
Same chords as Yellow by Coldplay, But they tune the High E down a half step to D#
Spaceman Er no Yellow has 5 chords. This song changes key twice. Where are you getting that they have the same chords?

You do realise there's a roman number mistake in the picture, right? 4 should be IV, not IIII
“I” in Roman numerals means one, and “V” means five, so IIII logically is 4 and
Clocks don't always use IV because it can be confused with VI, so they take a liberty and use IIII instead. Where I am right now, there are two clocks with Roman numerals, and they both use IIII. :-)

Which 3 keys are used in this song?
