Your videos like this are the best ones on the internet. There are plenty of electronics videos like this but they're not showing the exact same components that we use in this hobby. You do and that's awesome. Thanks.
Nice video. That said, How to Fix ESC is the title and I can't find where you tell the issues the FET driver can cause so we are able to locate the issue and replace the driver.
Thanks so much for making this video! I microsolder phones and get a ton of requests from my local MultiGP club for repairs. Hope everything else at home is going well, I really appreciate you're still making content!
Hey dude! Really thank you for posting this video and explaining everything in such a simple and perfect manner. It really increased my knowledge. Thank you.
Yo Sam! Watched this video years ago, learned quite a bit from all your videos when I first got into building quads. I'm really curious where you are these days, how your daughter is doing and just how life in general is treating you.
Thanks for posting... Can you do a video on: How to troubleshoot a IC board and locate and replace damaged components? I would also like to know what solder/blower station you are using?
Great video for get some knowledge for repair our esc, right now I have a hobbywing 20x20 xrotor and I'm trying to findout how to repair it, m2 do not appear on blheli_32 motor connected even sound, mosfet are ok so don't know what can be the issue, have this happened to you before or can you help me to find where is the issue, I have changed fc and wire to make sure is not a connection issue

Hello there! Thank you very much for the repair videos. I have an Aikon ak32 35A 4in1 esc that doesn't ppwer up. I was trying to spot the issue and i think it the the voltage regulator that is right after the power lead. I found a picture that says E39 on it but i cant find any info about it. I would appreciate any help!!! ❤️
I have 2 tekko32 that stopped working all of a sudden. One smoked when i plugged my battery, i checked the mcu and did not notice any strange short circuit, the only thing i know is that the 3v3 reg was heating a lot, and at first i tried to replace it, but that was not the problem. I still don’t know what happenned. The other one i let some time storaged (less than 2 months) and when i put it in my new plane it have never more turned on, but this time no heat nor smoke, it simply refused to turn on. The first one i sent an email to holybro and they sent a new esc to me, but for the second i had not minded. I liked their support and warranty, but after these two problems and seeing some other people with similar problems i won’t buy anymore their products. Cheap escs have never disappointed me.
Great vid i just learned a lot. (I just blew an esc and thought I may as well have a go a fixing it (its already broken how much worse could i make it.)
My esc was ok, i plug my drone to my pc to BF i plug my lipo and suddenly my esc doesnt work, please help i doestn make any beep nor even a sound, my FC looks fine, Whats happening to my esc?
Hey Drone Mesh, I have the x rotor micro combo 60A 4 in 1 esc & flight controller F4 G3. I think I have a bust mosphett on the esc and been watching your play lists for some tips. I’m not sure that I can read the number on the phett correctly to know which type they are. You wouldn’t happen to know what type of phetts these would be for this esc that I would need to get to make a repair?
New sub here. Are these all BLDC motor controllers that your covering? I haven't noticed any Carbon Brushed motor controllers yet. Look forward to this series
VS is not Voltage sense, VS= Voltage Source (floating supply offset Voltage), for sensing Back EMF from the motor there is a resistor network placed close to the MCU each network is consist of 3 resistors maybe i guess. And thank you for making this awesome video.
Really a great content. 👍 However I have a question i.e. are the capacitors for coupling? For filter any DC out and let the AC only to the output? Like in audio amplifiers we put one between the output and the speaker?
I have an ORI32 that supplies about 25% less current to one motor at idle and at full punch outs maxes out in blackbox while all other motors are around 75%. I changed motors, resoldered etc and the problem persists at the same ESC location. The motor sounds fine and there is no stuttering. Is this a Mosfet or chip issue?
Yes u doing an excellent video yes I will help u as soon I can thank u for taking ur time to explain to us I'm verry happy that I found this kind of video .
I had 3 Ori's failing in less than 20 flights something. 2 of them have shorted MCU as well. I've come into conclusion they're not worth fixing. The cramped layout is also a pain in the butt to analyze and fix. Unless you're running them on 7 inch cruiser only or something like that, not racing or freestyle. They're very sensitive to crashes.
I'm really enjoying this series of videos. Please continue to make some more!

I am an engineer and understanding these things is really great. I thank you for your work, in the hope that you will continue

that serie is great please continue to do things like that :) even if there is not a lot a view, sometimes you just have to do what you like

I have a coupe of 3in1 ESCs I could try to revive. Very well made video. 👍

Everything I needed to know, stated quickly and very efficiently. Thanks.

Yes I will have a complete video on my tools in the upcoming days and we tackle a small fix tutorial from A-Z

I have a 4 in 1 esc. Crashed into water and now motor one has no power. Do you have a video that would talk me through that?
YES, YES, YES, YES, thank you bro.
I have lots of es he's in desperate need of some attention.
Great! But I would like to ask why fet driver and mcu they all have feedback circuit? Are they doing different job?
Great vid i just learned a lot. (I just blew an esc and thought I may as well have a go a fixing it (its already broken how much worse could i make it.)

can I apply this methos for mavic air 2 esc?

Could you please please do a whoop aio??
My drone is just flying the went to change the battery turned it on and suddenly my fc is blinking red it says arm but motors not spinning.
Really a great content. 👍

Seems to be a weak mosfet but you will have to replace all on the side with the issue.
keep on doing very deep explanations ! thanks !
Learned something today...most definitely,thanks DM👌🤜🔥🤛
What mosfet is similar to bebop 2
thanks Drone Mesh
Yes u doing an excellent video yes I will help u as soon I can thank u for taking ur time to explain to us I'm verry happy that I found this kind of video .
you are an electronics engineer?
Instant like for schematics. Then for tutorial too :)
I really love that work. Thank a lot
Please do a video on replacing BLHeli 32 mcu chips. And flashing them from scratch as I have an ori32 that blew all 4 mcu chips all shorting to ground
it could just be the 3.3v
Drone Mesh it was in the short went away once I removed the chips. I also replaced the ldo regulator
I can replace the chips I just don’t know if you can flash BLHeli 32 from scratch as I have heard the boot loader is closed source for BLHeli 32

Asu thanks for that! have you actually ever replaced the mcu‘s is it possible to flash from scratch as I have bought the chips. I’m curious to know?
awesome info!
My bebop 2 have mo tor errors plz help
Pretty interesting stuff, dude! Thanks a lot! 😃
Great contents, awesome video. Thank you and God bless.
you are amazing sir!
Nice work!!!
👍😀👍
It is just like vfd variable frequency drive
what if i short circuited it on the motor pads
I will purposely short 2 esc's on the channel for a tutorial video.
Thanks! Mine like smoked and it all looks black so would be cool if it could be fixed
I have a sneaky suspicion you're subscribed to Louis Rossman.
don't think its takes that long to be hd
