Mazda's first in-house diesel design. Very robust and popular engine (at least from what I have read). It was available with a Comprex supercharger.

I saw one of these in a 5 speed 626 diesel with 80k miles a few months back at pick n pull. Shame!

Where can I find one
In 15 years Iv found 3 and bought them all. Iv seen a couple more in the Midwest but they’ve been sold or scrapped. I’m in the middle of diesel swapping my escort wagon now, the swap is done but I dicked up the radiator so I gotta swap it out
