- In this video I give 3 interview questions and answers to prepare for your HR Advisor Interview. Understand why interviewers ask these questions to ensure your answer is relevant to the HR role. Watch me answer these questions in detail from my perspective using the STAR technique and being authentic.
Please note: These questions are generic but quite often there aren't any answers which are tailored from the perspective of an HR professional answering them. This video is based on my personal experiences with generic answers in an HR Advisor interview setting.

Thank you for this video, it’s made me realise how terrible I am at interviews but is very helpful. Looking to start my CIPD 3 soon to get into this field.
great tips
Nice video
I request you to give titles for each and every word so that people can understand your valuable words without missing. Because so many people are there who cant understand your ascent. ❤
Erm…. This video is wrongly titled, this is general interview information and nothing specific about the role of a hr advisor, nothing on case management, employee relations, employment laws and policies, that’s the kinda questions they ask during such interviews and that was really my expectation as I went for a few and was unsuccessful, and I thought finally someone has put in the effort, so disappointed 😢
I went for an HR Advisor interview 6 months ago and these are some of the exact questions they asked me on the interview which I know some people may struggle with. I was offered the job so I thought it would be good to share these questions and answers here based on my experience. Yes there are generic but generic interview questions are asked in most interview scenarios which I have tailored for HR professionals as I know alot of information on generic interviews are not tailored for specific role positions. Thanks for your feedback, this is a part of a series so I will take note of your thoughts for upcoming videos😊
@@hrtalkswithlish thanks for replying, and reading my comments again, I probably poured a little bit of my frustration on you,( or maybe all of it🥲) and hey, my sincere apologies for that🙏 I would have removed it but you already replied, but I will still appreciate if you could discuss more about the HR advisor as a role, case management, like employee relations issues, absence management, applying employment laws and policies in day to day operations, etc, or direct me to a video if you have already done this, I believe there is really little information on TH-cam about this, and HR roles in general, So I appreciate your channel a lot for making the effort in teaching/ sharing on HR experience….thanks again for your response, I appreciate 🙏
@@amakamba8472 I can definitely make a video which describes more detail about being an HR Advisor specifically. I have not done this role in particular as I was offered the job but did not take it because it wasn’t the right fit for me. What I can do is research this role and discuss it in more detail or I may get an HR Advisor on the channel as part of my career conversation series😊 Thank you for replying back in this way.
I guess you have also got to look at the company you are applying for.
Also new to your channel. Good job
