My buddy told not to trust the car manual on scheduled maintenance mileages because they want you breaking down. Book says 100,000 for trans fluid change on my 2016 flex, I got 58k and I need to change it quick. Thanks for the video.

Actually, that is only part of the fluid. It holds about 12 quarts. You should do this twice, once again after driving the car for a couple of days. Or, you could have transmission shop get all the fluid out and new put in.

Is there an internal filter for the trans to change out or no? There’s gotta be a trans filter it’s automatic..🤔

You bet, it has one, the only way to get to it, is to remove the transmission and split the case, terrible design, sadly.
