And while Byleth has a bunch of different weapons we wished for new Fire Emblem characters to have, he still has a sword as his main weapon. I think the most obvious choice for F-Zero would be Samurai Goroh. He's one of the main four in the original F-Zero and he's the nemesis of Captain Falcon.

I would like to see Gilgamesh, or if we're sticking to mage characters, Kuja. Though we're probably more likely to get Terra or Kefka. If we get another Castlevania character, it will DEFINITELY be Alucard or Dracula, but I wouldn't mind seeing Soma or the girl from Order of Ecclesia (can't remember her name right know), just to change things up. And for Pokémon... have you noticed the only "starter" type we haven't gotten as a playable character is grass? Not going to count Ivysaur, they're not their own character. Decidueye was a golden opportunity to fix that, but I think Meowscarada or even just Floragato could work for Smash. Or if they wanna remake the Explorers games, just go ahead and add Grovyle.
I think Yuki Makoto from Persona 3 would make more sense than Yu because Persona 3 Reload is the latest game. If it’s just persona 5 it should be Akechi
Pauline should be the next Mario character in Smash 100%. She was literally one of the first ever three Mario characters coming before Peach, Bowser, and even Luigi Also Dixie should be the next DK character without a doubt And Shadow>>>Knuckles
There boring Zero is so much cooler and has such better move set ideas and in fact I feel like we should remove normal Megaman for X since he's so much cooler
