The reeducation, the brainwashing, SHOULD BE STOPPED immediately in its entirety. The reeducation of white people became a multibillion business, and it's in the financial interest of Ojo Thompson and others to facilitate such abhorrent “trainings” to create the constant racial conflict. If we want stand up it will escalate.

It's hard for me to believe that these consultants are anything but full-on sociopathic narcissists who use the opportunity to bully, belittle and harass. There are so many successful black professionals in the Toronto area that prove her wrong (including herself!) that she must know that she is spouting lies. I can't imagine being forced to choose between sitting through this garbage and losing my job. What a nightmare!
Please don’t let this story dissipate into nothing. This is a significant issue and accountability needs to happen. Biltszto was a wonderful, compassionate man who was well loved by his students. This was disgraceful treatment of another human, regardless of skin tone. What to do?
Bilkszto’s objection to Ojo-Thompson’s sweeping generalization was not only justified but necessary. The latter is a person who has a tenuous grasp of history, and has advanced her career by crying racism against anyone who challenges her slapdash dogma. I can’t imagine what a toxic, sociopathic person you have to be to do what she did to this man-and in a “training” session of all places. It took all of three seconds listening to her browbeating tone to know what kind of person she is. It’s about time that these venomous people are finally being brought to the light of day. RIP, Richard. You should never have been subjected to this criminal harassment.
What I find interesting is that even after a week she still was unable to understand his comment. It infuriates me that out tax paid for this distribe that is so nonsensical.
She was unwilling to understand it. Anyone who disagrees with her is a racist/white supremacist. It saves her from having to actually defend her positions against any sort of criticism.
She doesn't want to understand his comment. She's paid millions in contracts to go into public workplaces and find racism, so it's all she wants to see.
Because... *gasp*... we are all human with an equal capacity to be prejudiced, biased and all those other adjectives. I find that ability very equitably distributed. Success!
We didn't give her power, she is the owner of her own foundation named KOJO, and guess who gives her money? The same rich people who want us to fight among ourselves rather than growing and competing with them.
All he did was defend his country and tell the truth... The 2nd day they did single him out. And her "I'm so lucky" nonsense was directly meant to demean Bilkszto, I have no doubt. But why didn't you play the part of the audio where she said "Canada is as racist as the US"? Bikszto's whole response was to just one part of her opening, but we didn't hear it. Though I definitely heard enough. I think everyone should have a look at the work of a woman named Jane Elliott. She probably had the first "Anti-racist" liberal arts course back in the 70s. I saw it on PBS in the 80s. Her course Brown eyes/Blue eyes is the progenitor to this new anti-racist training. Mistreatment as perspective. But Elliott's course was about mirroring, HER one perspective of the historic treatment of African American's. And she openly lied about some statistics just to have her class go the way she wanted. But her tactics were just acting racism, she trained as an actress. No one gets treated like Ms. Elliott treated people back in the days of her class anymore. Chastising people to give them perspective to "see the other side" is not an educational tool, now and probably never was. It just takes the stick from one group and hands it to another. Elliott was born in Iowa, never left. She wanted to be an actress but fell back on teaching. She taught elementary school. I think her ways had their time. But they are just cruel and insulting now because most people are not overtly racist anymore. And some people like Richard Bilkszto lived his life trying to fight racism and thought he'd done good work, only to have it turned around and used against him. I believe that is the modern lesson. If you apologize and give up the stick, it will be taken and used against you instead. An eye for an eye. That is what is being acted out in the world today.
“Y’all need to listen” “Your job in this world as white people is to ask - help me understand further, because I don’t know”. How is she still employed. And by whom. Who gave her all these talking points.
His suicide is the perfect answer to your question as to why she's even employed... you risk being called a racist and being cancelled if you even ask a rational question.
All people have brains and can learn from each other and understand each other. Differences of opinion should be discussed, not shut down, so we can learn from each other. I am mixed race and the mother of a mixed family. I do not accept this idea of only listening and asking questions. Everyone should be able to express their ideas and be ready to back them up with evidence. I find the instructor's attitude towards this educator very arrogant.
Thank you for your view point. We are human beings; we have so much more in common than what is different between us. It is shameful we are still behaving poorly when it comes to our racial, religious, gender differences.
What inequities were shown during covid? For example, if you declared you were indigenous, you immediately went to the head of the line for a vaccine. So what is she talking about?
The Orwellian Thought Police have arrived in Canada. It is remarkable and extremely troublesome that Orwell’s original fictional account of a dystopian society is unfolding into reality before our eyes. The shaming and bullying of this educator has come to a tragic end.
I have taken similar courses given by enlightened instructors who are trying to raise awareness in a thoughtful, respectful manner. You are always encouraged to ask questions. And I have engaged a number of them in private and had a very thoughtful balanced discussion with them. This was nothing more than a blatant hate filled racist beating Below is what The Workman's compensation board said about the issue when Mr Bilkszto filed a claim “Based on the information on file, I am satisfied that the conduct of the speaker … was abusive, egregious and vexatious, and rises to the level of workplace harassment and bullying,” wrote the worker’s compensation decision, which was also obtained by the National Post. WSIB’s view was that the DEI trainer intended to “cause reputational damage and to ‘make an example’” of the principal. TDSB didn’t dispute Bilkszto’s recollection of events to the compensation board, nor did it appeal the compensation board’s award (the deadline for disputing the claim has passed). That sums it up.
Hey Paul Burton; thanks for this thoughtful and thought provoking comment. Some would say that you can't have any workplace training and all "DEI "sessions should be cancelled. The truth is, some sessions are all about informing teachers what they can do to make their classrooms more welcoming to our diverse student population and to help their students reach their potential. The problems is that in some boards the people in charge have turned this into a "neo-McCarthyism". Even the most subtle act of questioning is proof you're a heretic. What went on here is an absolute abuse of power by the presenter and a complete abdication of responsibility of the employer. It sickens me.
Root cause? Your remedy may be worse than the disease. She is an expert at what she is doing here. A simple prosecution is not going to alleviate the nightmarish malignancy that she so eloquently represents.
Talking down to people, telling them how to to "un-think". Telling other people they can "never understand" your experience. What does the I stand for in "DEI", because it certainly has nothing to do with inclusivity if this instructor is to be used as an example.
It's a cult for race hustlers. Those are mechanisms put in place to prevent criticisms of their positions. This is from the race hustler manuals of D'Angelo and Kendi.
So, she says my experience will never be as hers and that is rooted in the fact that we look different. Fair enough, but that goes both ways. We can diminish the distance by learning about each other's cultures. The same argument can be made between any 2 groups that are distinct in some aspect. I am an immigrant and my experience is closer to another immigrant who looks different from me vs someone born locally even though they may look the same. Just a different way to draw lines and classify experience. What's the point of doing that? I don't see it.
I'm confused. Why do those students not do so well if they have the same access to education? Maybe the parents should be encouraging them more and telling them how important education is instead of expecting handouts and blaming the "white supremacists". My immigrant parents were poor. We were a family of 6 living in a 2 bedroom cockroach infested apartment, money was always an issue, living in a rough neighborhood and also faced discrimination, and were insulted due to our heritage. Life is unfair. But we rose above it by working hard in school and at work. We respected others and earned their respect in turn. I would say the same is true for all the visible minorities I work with who are successful. Stop playing the victim card. People who do that will always feel like victims for their entire lives and will not succeed.
lots of pepe do this and still get shitty kids. this African chick went against her wealthy parents and instead of doing stem she decided to write woke literature because the government would pay her to do so. oh well you can bring a horse to water
Her livelihood is based on running workshops on diversity so she has a vested interest in ensuring that Canadians believe that their country is worse than the US. She says that it’s a huge problem and then, wow, offers the solution - for a price.
Of course, factual information was rejected by saying you're upholding "white supremacy." Canada is a more socially just society. In Canada's history, despite Ojo-Thompson's gas lighting, we have NO trans-Atlantic slave trading history (she suggests we have over 200 years). We do incarcerate Blacks at a disproportional rate, but nowhere near the disproportional rate of the US and the sentences in the US are outrageously long. We do not execute anyone in this country. Yet the US, with a 23 billion dollar educational differential between poor and rich neighbourhoods is superior? Utter nonsense and our taxes are supporting this.
I have a neighbor, both are professionals who immigrated from Nigeria. We were once close, our small children played together and generally got along well. We had an afternoon social with drinks and after a half bottle of wine the neighbor’s wife started getting into racism and blaming ALL whites for the problems that black people face. She accused me of being a racist just because I am white. Needless to say, to this day I will not talk to her or her husband, who teaches at a local second rate university.
This "institute" spoke at my wife's school board. She came home and told me how delusional these people are. She was aspiring to become a VP but that is no longer the case given how education is governed in Ontario.
The time we’re living in now will be known by future historians as the Stupid Age. We’re getting dumber. The daughters and granddaughters of the 1960’s critical theorists are simply doing what their parents and grandparents told them to do - raise their fist in defiance of the System. But it didn’t work, and it won’t work, because it can’t. We still live by Christian norms, even though most people today aren’t Christian. But the norms and ethics of Christianity are all around us, it’s the air we breathe. And that’s a good thing, we should be happy. It’s those very norms that reveal how twisted this woman is. White people don’t deserve to be treated like this, just because they’re white. I suspect the black woman will one day regret the above audiotape.
That wont happen. People like her wil push their crap even if it makes black on white crime higher than it already is. She will teach this to every new comer until whites are a minority in their own and even far past that. Will they be able to express an opinion then? And they will push this until blacks and browns and company all join in the violence because they have been brainwashed to hate and blame whites for everything even if it ruins their own lives. Think of Rohdesia, Liberia or South Africa. We are not the same and thinking that we are is a mistake. The greatest differences are not physical but behavioral
This 3rd person is pushing marxist ideology . He discusses that students have equal opportunity - which is an enlightenment value but then he wants equal outcomes based on intersectionality and victim status ( incorrectly called identity politics ) This ideology is disastrous for all students because students soon learn they no longer have to try because the outcome is predetermined . .
Shame on the people who, knowing that Richard Bilkszto wasn't a racist, kept their silence. If we don't have the courage to publicly question, we should at least have the courage to support those that do.
He received calls from frightened and outraged colleagues who were simply too terrified to speak up. The story may have turned out very differently if even a few people with influence had taken action.
Yes - its actually a watered down version of Mao 's cultural revolution and getting rid of the " four olds " Where youth were indoctrinated with Marxist ideology , statues of Buddha Statues were smashed , and teachers were dragged into the streets and publicly shamed .
Also, as a gay man, this principal grew up with systemic oppression such as not being able to marry (until recently). Where is the intersectionality that examines how different kinds of oppression intersect? Where is the inclusivity? Hierarchizing one kind of oppression over another isn't intersectionality, it is identity politics. She judged him just on the colour of his skin, is that not also racism? And what about acknowledging how the TDSB created a school just for Black students with all Black faculty? how the curriculum has been changed to include diverse voices, perspectives, histories? how the faculty and administration has become more diverse with equity hiring and promotion policies? How does calling allies who have actively worked for such progress "white supremacists" help the cause?
Some folks are asking questions as to how this all happened. People need to understand that not all "DEI" training is like this. What happened here is outrageous, but some equity sessions are run with the idea of real inclusion and helping people, not demonizing or bullying others. These sessions have, however, increasingly become opportunities for gas lighting, misinformation and placing blame. I would encourage you to write to the Minister of Education and not tell him to end all diversity training, but to protect employees for asking reasonable questions or making comments such as those made by Richard Bilkszto. His employer, the TDSB, not only failed to protect him as is required by law, but piled on. We need to return to respectful behaviour in our institutions; sessions such as those from the KOJO Institute only exacerbate current problems and create more intolerance and hatred. KOJO institute gets a great deal of money from the tax payers. Try to google the information. I can’t seem to post the link.
And what was she ranting about? This woman is absolutely deranged, and yet, everybody had to listen to her and agree with her under duress because of the consequences of presenting another point of view and politely disagreeing with her incredibly racist rant. She definitely knew how much power she had over those people's jobs and careers. The level of personal insults is unbelievable. It was hard to listen to the tape but I'm glad I did. The audio has convinced me she is an inquisitor and torturer whose actions were directly responsible for Mr. Bilkszto's death.
Bilkszto is a central European name. Central European states such as Poland banned slavery long before any other nation did and the citizens were themselves subject to slave raids from the Ottoman empire for centuries. As with my father, about 10 million central and eastern Europeans became slaves in the Nazi slave labor camps. This woman belongs in a courtroom, charged with psychological torture leading to suicide. The idea that the Trudeau government actually funds her organization is abhorrent.
Her experience as a CEO is higher privilege than mine as an employee. So her lived in experience, gives her no right to determine or review the metrics that are relevant to me. So she just needs to listen to what I have to say, and stop oppression of people who are also not CEOs.
I read the National Post article in the link in the description. If Koko Ojo-Thompson is not prosecuted for bullying, the system is totally hypocritical.
Everyone should live in their own ethno state as in the past made things much simpler. Now we will hear of endless racism until people self segregate again
It's the segregation that the woke are trying to accomplish. We had a functioning unsegregated society in the works and on the tracks moving in the right direction for decades until they moved in and made everything about race again. It was not like this 15 years ago. 2006-2012 were probably peak colorblind years for our society, and it gave us a black president who was tolerated by both sides.
That's not necessary. Just get rid of woke critical social justice and EDI and then things will be much better. It's these race hustlers who always want to create conflict to justify their fake jobs.
@@edytatehrani3934 Problem is, certain types of people aren't allowed to advocate for having their own ethnostate. She's a RACIST! Why can't I believe he left willingly? Listening to him defend his position, I cannot accept he suicided. He pointed out everyone was funded equally, not based on race or sexual identity. Richard was a mentally balanced man at that point at least. ( As a white person whose child was denied privilege due to the fact she didn't identify as indigenous on multiple occasions. Along with denied inclusion in crafting due to being a woman I fully understand what discrimination is, thanks very much ! )
In an effort to not be rude, but, this person is fanning the flames of discontent. Her statements of facts are not. Her complaint that Canadians are too silent is correct, we should speak out when ever we hear misinformation, ergo, she is delivering misinformation.
The TDSB must be held to account for not supporting Richard Bilkszto! The fact they continued business dealings as usual after her bullying one of their most respected high school principals speaks volumes. It was an honest exchange of ideas delivered in a professional manner that set her off. It should outrage Bilkszto's colleagues of whom he had great respect. It wasn't until his feeling of being left abandoned by those fearful of speaking up that an avalanche of sadness and despair befell him. Richard dedicated his life to his students, he deserved better!
I'm lucky to have known him. I'm proud to have known him. I'm proud of the rainbow of humanity who showed up at Richard Bilkszto's Celebration of Life despite the fact that so many were TDSB employees and their employer had ostracized Richard. These folks were risking censure and they came anyways. The long acknowledged climate of fear at the TDSB will not come to an end until more employees bravely stand up.
This principal was the leader in establishing Toronto's Foundation Against Intolerance and Racism and he did more in his career to support racialized students than this woman has ever done. What she is doing is not anti-racism: it is narcissism. No responsible educator would ever 1) misinterpret a thoughtful and fact-based challenge to an argument as "white supremacy controlling the narrative" or 2) repeatedly denigrate and accuse a participant as "an example of white supremacy." The responsible response would be, "It is true that our funding structures for students are more equitable than in the States, so we need to look at why outcomes still show disparities." But she couldn't face that her weak claim that Canada was more racist than the States was successfully challenged with facts so she had to attack him over and over and destroy him. That is narcissism. Cruelly unjust.
So it takes someones suicide to question how wrongfully he was disgraced and lost his job? I don't just blame her but also the school board for such short sighted and abusive actions.
The condescending laughter and her constant interruption to mischarcterize his points make me want to scream. These aren't the actions of an oppressed woman, they're the acts of a privileged one.
She is using dei as an excuse to bully and intentionally attempt to undermine his dignity and worth. A harrassment charge causing harm is essential. All bulliing is rooted in liw self worth which does not give people the right to project their issues onto innocent people as this lady did and is likely continuing to he tried to set healthy boundaries with her but just continued to try and devalue him.
This so-called expert has zero business being in this business. It’s a one sided ideology. She is greatly benefiting and this will come back to bite her. Mark my words.
Wow is this ever hard to listen to. What a brainwashed and nasty woman. How does she sleep at night? And more importantly, how does Deloitte justify hiring someone who caused another person's death?
@@whitelightning5439I am able to listen to this in its entirety. Now wish I didn't hear it. This man took his life because of this bullying and hypocrisy. Just mindblowing that this hatred is being trickled down into the minds of school children by people like her and her supporters.
This vile Ojo-Thompson woman should be charged with criminal harassment for bullying a kind-hearted man to death. If the situation was reversed, and a white instructor said that hateful rhetoric against a black principal, that instructor would have already been booked at the police precinct.
Ojo-Thompson seems to have been able to get through her entire education, as well as ascending to the level of influence she had/has within the education industry, without accepting crucial aspects of academic integrity and openness to intellectual disagreement. Those who think along these lines are normalizing personal attack as a part of academic debate, and even undermining the concept of civil debate and disagreement by equating it to discrimination and violence. Do not let them move societal norms in that direction; that form of DEI philosophy is not how any progress or social justice will actually be achieved.
Only 5% of Transatlantic slaves ended up in north america. The largest portion went to Brazil. She should go there and try her maoist struggle sessions.
Question So where is the group facilitator who is going to represent all of the East Indians Where is the group facilitator who’s going to represent all of the Asians? Where is the group facilitator who’s representing all of LGBTQ? Puerto Ricans , Mexicans, Muslims and Jewish people. Blacks think they own all rights of disenfranchisement. Defend everyone or defend no one. In the workplace!
And the group facilitator to defend the rights of whites in the workplace, which are being threatened by DEI itself. You either treat everyone equally or you don't. There's no exceptions and your assigned oppressed/privileged status does not count.
I listened to the audio and wonder what if she had said in response something like “point taken, there is a difference between US and Canada and I can see how you would take issue or I can see your point about the differences in how it’s structured AND I’d like to clarify what I’m saying which is that the funds from taxes may be equal but the outcomes are not.” And/or he could have realized his folly and concede they are different issues and questions. Instead, she chose to go the inflammatory route and liken his response to a white supremacists. Because IMO, this is the all too important conversation that gets overshadowed in these publicized disputes. Now we have the finger pointing and defaming on both “sides” and the issue or real substance gets buried. Btw, I wasn’t able to come to this conclusion until I heard this specific audio. And I can’t say I’m surprised this is where we are.
to her, this is not a debate over facts. instead, it's a power struggle between the white man and the black woman's "lived experiences". The power hierarchy and experience completely override any facts, reason or data. It shows why DEI is an utterly divisive, corrupt and vicious wolf in a sheep's clothing. Reason has no place in this disgusting paradigm
As a senior corporate trainer and a manager myself with a lot of experience, I can say that this woman is highly unprofessional and doesn’t even know the basics of managing change. She is singling a participant out, which shows me she has no idea how to train large groups. She’s an amateur and needs to go back to the fundamentals of group learning and facilitation. You will never get change by insulting Canadians for being polite and by being rude and arrogant yourself, or by pointing a finger at a participant, grilling them in front of their peers and superiors… pretty disgusting.

That's because she isn't very smart
The racial industrial complex on full throttle
She is showing her black privilege and talking down to him. He isn’t allowed to say anything according to her.
Because... *gasp*... we are all human with an equal capacity to be prejudiced, biased and all those other adjectives. I find that ability very equitably distributed. Success!
She is a racist, pure and simple.
Why do we give power to these arrogant bullies? She’s blind to the truth. She only see “her truth”. So condescending.
She gets big paychecks for only seeing racism.
HER truth is the truth of black people, something you will NEVER understand because you are not black.
We didn't give her power, she is the owner of her own foundation named KOJO, and guess who gives her money? The same rich people who want us to fight among ourselves rather than growing and competing with them.
This Thompson lady should be fired immediately and charged for a hate crime
The TDSB affirmed support for the "anti-racism" she gets hired to implement.
Race grifter.
notice how the clowns are always obfuscating and laughing all the time
This special example of black privilege has clearly missed every teachable moment she has ever been exposed to; now she is an expert.
I'm so disgusted by this wokeness, sure there is always room for improvement in society and in our personal lives, but this is not the way to do it.
It’s also not only white people who need the learning and improvement.
Terrible this woman has to go
Bullied to death.
“Y’all need to listen”
“Your job in this world as white people is to ask - help me understand further, because I don’t know”.
How is she still employed. And by whom. Who gave her all these talking points.
She is the CEO and owner of this company.
She is displaying false humility. It’s a ploy.
His suicide is the perfect answer to your question as to why she's even employed... you risk being called a racist and being cancelled if you even ask a rational question.
Government funds all these DEI training sessions
All people have brains and can learn from each other and understand each other. Differences of opinion should be discussed, not shut down, so we can learn from each other. I am mixed race and the mother of a mixed family. I do not accept this idea of only listening and asking questions. Everyone should be able to express their ideas and be ready to back them up with evidence. I find the instructor's attitude towards this educator very arrogant.
Thank you for your view point. We are human beings; we have so much more in common than what is different between us. It is shameful we are still behaving poorly when it comes to our racial, religious, gender differences.
This is an absolute disgrace.
Your comment is counter-intuitive, having an opposing view from their perspective is criminal?
@@iLiveRadiothey sure would like it to be criminal - aren't they declaring some speech "hate crimes" now?
I have taken similar courses given by enlightened instructors who are trying to raise awareness in a thoughtful, respectful manner. You are always encouraged to ask questions. And I have engaged a number of them in private and had a very thoughtful balanced discussion with them.
This was nothing more than a blatant hate filled racist beating
Below is what The Workman's compensation board said about the issue when Mr Bilkszto filed a claim
“Based on the information on file, I am satisfied that the conduct of the speaker … was abusive, egregious and vexatious, and rises to the level of workplace harassment and bullying,” wrote the worker’s compensation decision, which was also obtained by the National Post.
She should be arrested and charged and prosecuted to the full extent of the law for having been the root cause of this man’s death
A successful lawsuit will do more. Companies will dump this corporate wokeism the moment it becomes an obvious threat to their budgets.
I don't see it.
they'll all be grateful when all the good people are gone.
You have to wonder why they emigrated from Nigeria to such a horribly racist country. Maybe they should go back.
The wife got captured.

They don't realize that they are the system now...
5:44 if you aren’t there to compare she should not have compared Canada to USA. Who are you to tell us what is relevant or not. This is BS.
This 3rd person is pushing marxist ideology .
He discusses that students have equal opportunity - which is an enlightenment value
but then he wants equal outcomes based on intersectionality and victim status ( incorrectly called identity politics )
This ideology is disastrous for all students because students soon learn they no longer have to try because the outcome is predetermined .
Absolutely terrible! Everyone has a voice. She stated her beliefs as did the Late Mr. Bilkszto. Thompson is no more than a bully!
Talk about having a chip on your shoulder. I think I would of just walked out and not spent a moment of my time listening to this nonsense!
I think I would change professions if I had to sit through these types of lessons.
She has a HUGE monopoly for a couple years around covid and lectured at many orgs. BOTH of my workplaces at the time hired her.
When every aspect of our society has their "Bud-Lite" moment, there is going to be a lot of women out of work.
1984
.."there's no reason why you can't open your mouths"......really??
This is indoctination.
Yes - its actually a watered down version of Mao 's cultural revolution and getting rid of the " four olds "
Where youth were indoctrinated with Marxist ideology , statues of Buddha Statues were smashed , and teachers were dragged into the streets and publicly shamed .
What a sociopath.
She has a very unfortunate and ironic name
Her company is somehow still getting contracts like Deloitte!!!
"Racialized people" is something the kkk would say , and of course the canadian liberal government
Of course she is so wise and everyone else is so racist.
Kojo_Thompson What an evil evil evil person C A McLean
Someone needsto ask this women "who the hell does she think she is talking to".
Thank you for the information regarding the first countries in Europe to ban slavery. Many are not aware of this.
Her experience as a CEO is higher privilege than mine as an employee. So her lived in experience, gives her no right to determine or review the metrics that are relevant to me. So she just needs to listen to what I have to say, and stop oppression of people who are also not CEOs.
Ojo-Thompson is operating from race-ist principals, so how can that be a critique of racism?
Very sad
A classic case of projection
Sad, but true. I already see that happening. 😢
Deloitte Canada just hired this woman😐
Good God, I hope they're well-founded for lawsuits
Cruelly unjust.
profound and teachable moments indeed
So it takes someones suicide to question how wrongfully he was disgraced and lost his job? I don't just blame her but also the school board for such short sighted and abusive actions.
SHAME ON DELOITTE CANADA. If you work at a company that uses their servicing, you must encourage them to use alternative companies. Shame on them.

That black woman is an outright racist and a narcissistic pervert.

Why hasn't there been criminal charges filed against the KOJO?
