If you try the mothership rush again, you could recall a probe and build a pylon in their base for warp-ins.
I think u could build a warp prism in the time it takes to build the pylon and slow warp your unit. If u did it tho it would be very funny
@@Federico-1in order to do a warp prism you need a robo and i don’t know if you can afford it with this build and still make so many units
Honestly: probes building shield batteries and cannons under cloaking field would be the funniest thing ever. Please uthermal, go for the 10 minute mothership cannon rush

While I normally play Terran, I definitely love seeing a good tempest build. A few years ago, while I was still kinda new to starcraft, I played a game against a Terran. Both of us were kinda new, so we both sat back and were just building units. Unfortunately for him, I was making mass tempests. He didn't realize this until too late, when he finally scanned me. The look on his face must have been priceless, and his reaction definitely was. He started building so many turrets lol (not that they did him a bit of good, poor guy)
Aren't marines with good upgrades + mines annihilate tempests because of the overkill damage of tempests?
Would still love to see "Neural a worker and win with their army" challenge from you. I think you did it but it deserves a revisit
That would be really fun and Im curious how high on the ladder he could get with that because of how unviable and hilarious it is, especially against Terran. You need like 10 consecutive neurals on an scv to build a command center
it's not one that anyone can put a "to GM" suffix on unfortunately.

If you're rushing mothership, I highly recommend fast 4 gas mass sentry with it. It works at least up to M3 for all races as far as I'm concerned.
I can't wait to see the new challenges once this insane "proposed" patch goes through!!!

Idea for this series for you Mark. Similar to this one using a mothership to recall to their base, but try and bait the opponents army out of their base first. Hide the mothership, then bring you army across the map and make it seem like you are retreating. Then your recall will make it seem like your going home in a panic, but you are actually going straight in to their base.
Indeed. Clever baits and positioning are under-utilized in SC2.

More Cheese? Heck yeah! Your builds are always whacky so I'm always hyped. I really like seeing the lesser used units in fun games.
I have a proxy mothership rush that hits around 5-6 minutes (its on one base but a nexus is made on the other side of the map, hence the proxy bit) so it's quite nice to see any form of mothership rush. (edit: I do think it needs to be on two base as it hits early but has no power because we just cant afford anything. and it only would win games because enemy freaks out and doesnt have enough aa so im able to widdle the army down enough to be okish) and im in such a low rank that you can win with anything (diamond 1)
Now to see a mothership rush with the new proposed balance changes

Idea while doing protos cheese:: use war prism to make cannons. Many people don’t know you can power buildings with them.
Problem is cannons are not scary by the time a Warp Prism can reach the base. Would be super fun otherwise. Shield Batteries, to support an all-in, maybe.

It's funny cause I tried to come up with a build I made myself along these lines about 2 years ago. My idea was just taking quick gasses and going Phoenix colossus and then a mothership later on
You should throw in a probe pull with the mothership recall for maximum cheese/all-in!

The first opponent's nickname (санавабич) is literally "sanavabich" (son of a bitch). That is not a translation, it is what it sounds like if you would read it out loud in Cyrillic. The fact that he got praised is even better lmao.

Against terrans, you should totally do the double drone torture. Send out a drone, torture him a little, once he gets fed up, run away and run in with a second drone that's already waiting close by ^^

One thing you can't ignore about the mothership is early game it's a very powerful unit by itself. Not by cost but it's still a lot of dps from an extremely tanky target.

This feels like a really good reason to bring back the mothership core. Just make it take on the current mothership's lower mineral and gas costs, same abilities, and then allow it to upgrade to a more powerful mothership with more resource costs, kinda like the mothership from the sc2 protoss demo.

Just fly over Terran's main and teleport whole army there, he can't walk on ramp to kills this and his whole base is blowing up. And Protoss can recall to base to defend too xd
