1. The Front office is full of snakes, until they're cleared the Bulls will never win another ring.
2. They drafted a 7 footer who can only shoot and is a poor rebounder and a extremely poor defender, both of which are bad in the current day league which needs two way players. PLUS we gave up our own 16 pick and traded our second rounder for money which is terrible for a rebuild. He also never worked out for the Bulls at any point.
3. LaVine is also a poor defender (so much so he was moved to the bench) and now comes with a serious ACL tear. The NBA All-Star projection is a pretty lofty goal for a team that hasn't been able to develop young players since we drafted Jimmy.
4. Kris Dunn underwhelmed thuroughly but knowing Thibs I'm willing to give the kid a chance. Everyone knows Thibs doesn't like to play rookies.
5.The Bulls got fleeced on that trade there's almost no denying it better offers were given by the Suns and Celtics.
6. FA down the line are going to look at our terrible culture created by our disgusting Front Office and will never want to come there until the snakes are cleared.
Most Bulls fan aren't mad that there's a rebuild they're mad that Jimmy was traded in such a stupid trade and they're annoyed that the Front Office is still holding their jobs.

Markkanen seems awesome, Lavine has had an awesome first couple of games, and we know he won't slow down too much and still be good. Dunn is also not quite a bust anymore. Teams will work in cycles generally because of the way teams have to trade and draft within limits instead of outright buying and throwing money at everything like in football (soccer) for example. Teams when in the bad half of the cycle will tank to gradually rebuild with good future players and hope it kickstarts the positive side of the cycle again. Sustained success in the NBA for let's say a decade is a lot harder than in sports like football where teams can simply buy players without having to give up many of their own assets

Wolves fan here and I think everyone is completely over reacting and saying that the Bulls got robbed. Yes the Wolves won the trade, but everyone is just writing off Zach Lavine saying, "Some guy coming off a torn ACL." I am positive that Zach will rebound from this injury and turn into a true superstar in this league. Not only does he have crazy athleticism, but he is a deadeye 3 point shooter, which is exactly what the Bulls need. The Bulls might look bad now, but in a couple years I could seem them on the rise again.
