- Today we are cleaning up the post office peeling some ice cap Owen is heading back up with the blower we have to get all of the equipment serviced and ready for a big dump tonight it looks like 16 to 24 inches in the next 24 hours it’s going to be wild tomorrow morning so stay tune for that.
Good grief! How many times now have I watched that your lazy butt either didn't replace that tire or remember to keep air in it? So unprofessional.

When your in the middle of peek snow removal season many things are easier said than done.
As we see with comments like the above.... Easy to comment, give opinions and call people lazy without knowing half of what someone has going on.

Man I had my eye on the Mammoth Mtn webcams today and was MISERABLE -- 60 mph winds at the summit, close to that at McCoy Station. Then I heard about the winter storm warning and it all made sense.
I know one shouldn't compare what they remember from 50 years ago to the present, but I'm still floored by the growth of the town in all that time and the expansion of facilities on the mountain itself. Simply mind-boggling.

How much are visitors willing to spend for lodging, meals, and lift tickets for this spectacular experience in the wonderful Sierras in the winter? Long live a healthy economy in the mammoth lakes area.
I get it, how much weight can those roofs carry before failing? It may be expensive to shovel off the heavy snows. But, it is even more expensive to dig out a collapsed roof of snow and water. Then the roof has to be rebuilt at great expense.
There must be damaged and destroyed gutters all over mammoth lakes

Good Video, Thanks. Ben, you said those tracks had fuel problems. I spent most of my life in very cold climates. In Mammoth, Lake Tahoe, and Park City Utah. You are much better off if you keep your fuel tank as full as possible. I have had to pull tanks and they were COMPLETELY full of ice from condensation. You can even get water pumped into your tanks from gas stations that don't keep their tanks full. I think you can get something installed on fuel lines that can separate the water from the fuel. Maybe that will help. 👍
Glad to see the puppers getting some more video time! They are like kids climbing up the top of the snow banks...and Sadie trying to roll around in it (to scratch her back maybe?). But I am surprised to see that its a 90 day event for the tire fix. How the hell can't there be one closer or sooner.

I spent yesterday and part of today towing vehicles out of ditches on a stretch of highway dept here finally shut down about 5 tonight.. my buddy and I had 3 wreckers down there.. my light wrecker and his medium and heavy.. Alot of folks here don't get that when the wind blows in 50 degree temps it flash freezes to cold asphalt..
You teased us with that huge chunk of snow on the building. I wanted to see it fall off.
6:15...You gotta run extra additive below about 30F. I don't trust the stations, tanker guys, or at the loading rack is adding anything. Only seen it dumped down the hole one time at a grocery store before guy hooked up his hoses.
Just a thought on your Loader Tire. There is a product out that works amazing it's not anything like Slime. It is called TireJect You won't mess with that Tire again!

i live in Eagle River,WI and we wish we had half the snow you get...
We were North a bit on sleds at 9500 plus, pretty windy. Also started snowing about 15 mins ago.. Sprinkles at 7400 but getting colder. Wind 100 plus over Sierras tonight.
