Since my last video I've been to Florida, spent a week with old friends in Illinois and jumped with both feet onto the bullet journaling bandwagon. My name is Christie and I am a cross stitcher, knitter and crocheter!
I'm also a full time RVer!
I'm trying something a little different than the other "flosstube" and knitting/crochet channels out there... Stitch With Me! Similar to a "Stitch n' Bitch" as it is known in the crafting world... since I travel full time and I'm not around my crafty friends, I discovered I like to work on my crafts while watching TH-cam videos.
I thought others might like to, as well! So grab a project and work on it while you watch my video! Even better, make a video like this of your own and let me know so I can work on my crafts while I watch yours, too!

Great video. All that talk about yummy tea n other beverages - I had to hit pause to go make myself a nice cup o tea. Christie, you're a fabulous lady and we all enjoy your company very much. Yesterday I finished a crosstitch "I (heart) Camping" for my husband's camping buddy. It was the second time I stitched that design...the first time being for my hubby. Today while you chatted I stitched on "99" aka "99 Bottles" by Ink Circles. I don't like beer, so I'm giving it to someone who enjoys tasting different beers from around the world. It's really fun to stitch. Hey, we'd all be just as happy for you to knit or crochet or whatever takes your fancy while you chat. Anyhoo, happy stitching, sewing, knitting, crocheting and happy n safe travels :-) Cheers

I'm soooo happy that your process for a surrogate is going so well! I don't even know you, but I got really excited when I heard they had found your channel and they thought your life style was so awesome. And thank-you for the info on bullet journaling! I wrote everyday for years, from middle school to college. I still write bits and pieces even now, but like you, I don't really have the time to actually sit a journal about what I did. I do have notebooks, tons of notebooks, that I use for different things, and as I listen to you explain what it is, I realize it's quite similar to what I'm already doing! But google has given me so many awesome ideas, so thank-you for the key words! I look forward to seeing your video on your planner/journal!

I got so much stitching done while listening to your life adventures!! Nice to see an appearance from Brian, too. :) I wanted to see what he was cooking! journaling is something I have never been able to get on board with unless it's journaling through photos, because I hate to write, lol! I do love to color, though :)

St Augustine is my dream place to go! Wish we had gone when we were in Fl a few years ago. Maybe this fall or winter. I'm in Utah so not used to humidity either it sucks. We are lucky to not have much humidity here.
Yeah Utah is a lot like Colorado! It's sure easy to get used to nice dry weather! You'll love St Augustine.... I hope you get to go!
Great news on the surrogacy update!! Looking forward to hearing more about your planner. Ironically 2 videos in a row talked about the habit recording - I think that is obviously something I may need to look into more :-)

My grandson is celiac he gets a fever and lethargic.gluton is in so so many things we have to check carefully when I cook for him. It's amazing how much stuff has gluton.
+MaryJo Mouldimg I'm so glad I don't have it that bad, and really feel for those that do! It feels like it's in everything other than meat and vegetables/fruit!
Thanks for sharing your Planner!! I started pocket scrapbooking 2 years ago mixed with traditional scrapbooking. So many photo's so little time!!!! I have been trying to figure out a simple way to keep up with our RV travels that's short and sweet. Also wanted it to travel with us in the RV. Thanks for the info, I think this might be a solution :) Have a scrapbooking order coming in with some RV stamps. Now I have a path to begin. Thanks again
Absolutely! Since these came from the scrap booking world and 365, they have the pocket pages so it's very easy to turn this into a memory keeping journal as well. It could be combined with a planner or you could just make it a journal and write things on each day and then have pictures and scraps in there. I'd love to go that way like put tickets stubs or postcards from our travels along with photos and journaling. Maybe once I get the hang of this 😀

very interesting, i want to travel in an RV at this point of my life, how did you start thinking and when did you start thinking this would be your life?
+Ana Alvite our RVing channel is a great place to get all those answers, you can follow our story for the beginning!! It would be way too much to explain in one reply. Our RVing channel is called Spot the Scotts and there's a playlist called watch us from the start.
i have a few questions. how does the tv watching work in a rv. do you have to wait until you get to a campground that offers free cable or do you have a package like traveling wifi. for that matter how does the internet work for you. also when you are trying to up your water. should i jump right into 5 bottles a day or should i work up to it like starting with 2 and then next week 3 and then next week 4 so on and so forth. btw i am enjoying your channel and you made a good video.
+Novice Sticher thanks so much!! As for water you don't need to warm up to it you can go straight to 5 it just depends if it's easier for you to work yourself in. At first you'll have to pee every 20 mins lol but when your body gets used to the extra water that gets better. We do not watch cable or regular tv channels although we could, with a dish or with campground cable but we don't. We watch everything on Netflix and Hulu through our Roku, and we have a wifi hotspot with unlimited data. Works great unless in a very remote location. We also have a cell booster which helps!

what type of work does ur hubby do, my hubby wants to get an RV and go around driving but I think I might not like it, do u like it
+specialCraftsandmore he's not currently working. We have a lot of investments that pay us pretty well. But he may be starting a shooting teaching business in the future. I absolutely love our life! But everyone is different! I've always loved traveling and road trips, love changing my environment, not the type of person who needs roots, and embrace change and new adventure. It's not for everyone but it is definitely for me!
What fabric are you using for DC pattern?
It's Aida and I'm sorry I don't remember the color name, but it's what I would think of as linen
