- Hey guys, I am back with a new stitch-along video! I managed to make it an even hour for ya this time ;) First I show off how all of my cross stitching supplies are organized now that I magically accumulated more... then show off my FO... and catch you up on the craziness that is life, lately!
My name is Christie and I am a cross stitcher, knitter and crocheter!
I'm also a full time RVer!
I'm trying something a little different than the other "flosstube" and knitting/crochet channels out there... Stitch With Me! Similar to a "Stitch n' Bitch" as it is known in the crafting world... since I travel full time and I'm not around my crafty friends, I discovered I like to work on my crafts while watching TH-cam videos.
I thought others might like to, as well! So grab a project and work on it while you watch my video! Even better, make a video like this of your own and let me know so I can work on my crafts while I watch yours, too!

I started gridding my fabric for a new 'Heaven and Earth Design' - Mini 'Pine Valley Station, while you chatted away. I like this concept as I can get plenty of stitching done while "watching". *smiles*. Happy stitching :-)

I love that bag you use to organize your things! My cousin is a consultant for 31 Bags and has sent me several and I love it! I have a pretty big one that I use as my crochet bag and I have my cross stitch WIP in one of the smaller ones. I need to check out your RV channel. My hubby and I thought about buying an RV and travelling. Maybe some day. :) Happy stitching!!

I managed to do my weekly meal plan and shopping list while I was watching this video :-) currently binge watching to catch up, then I might pop over to your other channel and binge watch those while hubby is on night shift.

I really liked this video and the format. Been thinking of doing something similar for a while, but the one time I tried (Sew vs. stab demo), it was really hard to follow a chart and talk at the same time, ha ha! I'll try again with something that has big blocks of color. Speaking of color, I LOVE the Pretty Little DC chart. Can't wait to see your progress on it. And yes, aren't we lucky to have such supportive guys? Mine has even gone to the LNS for me to pick up floss and actually came back with what I needed, lol! +Crafty Tiger Thank you! It has become a bit second nature to me (and my husband) as we have had our youtube channel over a year and a half now. I've always been really open about my life/feelings, I don't mind talking about a lot of things... however, there are some things I just don't talk about, certain subjects we keep personal. But this stuff... it's my life, it's made me who I am.

+StitchOnWheels: A Crafty Traveler Omg. Anywhere in the UP is amazing. Munising is my favorite area. Pictured Rocks, the Soo, Whitefish Point, Tahquamenon Falls... Mackinaw Island is super fun, and even MORE fun after the last ferry leaves ( if you like to hang out with random locals at one of the bajillion bars...) Mackinaw City is a fun tourist spot if you like to shop. South of the bridge... Ehhhh...

This was fun and you're definitely giving me the itch to start cross stitching again. Could you share the names of the ornament kits you have? We don't live in our Motorhome but I'm thinking I'd like to decorate for Christmas in July and those little kits would be perfect. Thank you and enjoy your day of rest!

I'm also thinking of creating my own charts. What programs do you recommend?
+Crafty Tiger I honestly can't recommend anything yet. I am so thoroughly frustrated with MacStitch, but from others I am talking to, it seems all the programs are frustrating if you want to do anything other than simply turn a photo into a pattern! I'm going to try designing on graph paper and see if I am able to turn that into a chart, but I'm told even that part has a huge learning curve!
