    I put the R6 throttle tube in mine and put on slip on exhaust. It's my daily commute bike. I get compliments at work all the time.

      @@AvgCurious It's a great bike for anyone. But it's not gutless. These will go 0-60mph in 5.5 seconds! That will kill you in under a few seconds. It's NOT a female only bike. The 2024 model has also had the seat height lowered to 780mm. The older models were 800mm. My 2024 R1M is 860mm!!!!!! For me I can only do track days as I can't flat foot it even on one foot. I'm male, 5' 10" and inseam of just 29" so riding on public roads isn't an option, hence my delight with the MT-03!

    Love this review! So happy to see other female riders giving honest reviews! Just got mine 2 weeks ago, and have almost 500 miles. I'm an experienced rider (but from the Harley cruiser style) and this is my 1st "sport" bike. Def in love! I would 1000% recommend the R6 throttle tube...installed myself (no mechanical knowledge) and it is a game changer. Best $30 I've ever spent!

      Oooh that's awesome, it's on my list to do. I'll trust your review and bump that up my list. The long throttle really, is truly my only sincere technical complaint. I made this channel hoping to get more female riders involved. I'm thankful for everyone here, but I'm so glad you stopped in. ❤️ We need more ladies out on the roads for sure, biking is awesome for everyone 😎

      Nice to see a recent review of the mt 03, thanks for posting it. I’ve owned a variety of large bikes during my 50 + years of riding and can honestly say, the mt 03 is as much fun to ride as any of them. The low seat height and weight makes the bike super easy to control.
      With 42 hp on tap, I’ve never had trouble keeping up with my buddies on larger bikes especially through the twisties. It’s a very underrated bike, the engine’s the same as that in the R3 which has it’s own race series. I have to smile when people call it a “beginners bike”. It can be certainly, but it can be so much more when the riding confidence grows. Look forward to seeing more from your channel, best wishes from England.

    I like that it's a 2- cylinder bike; I just believe that a "twin" is smoother than a "thumper" and there's more power in 2 cylinders doing the same thing as a single cylinder bike...

      @Voltomess ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@AvgCurious I did MSF in 2017 and I bought the bike a year ago. But I don't ride a lot . I live in a rural area with massive traffic . The only way to learn something is to ride on the weekends very early in the morning before the traffic. No mountains and twisties and no country roads nearby so yeah it sucks.

    • @AvgCurious
      @AvgCurious  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Voltomess aww that does suck, I have total confidence in you. Keep practicing, I still go practice at the parking lot all the time. When I first started writing though and I only had a learner's permit at the time. I would get my friends to ride behind me in their vehicle, like a sort of body block from other traffic. You just keep practicing in the best safe way possible and you'll be riding confidently in no time.
