I'm 52, just returned to riding after 30 years, bought a Royal Enfield Hunter 350 a few weeks ago, and am going to look at also getting one of these tomorrow.
I’m over 60 and just bought that exact bike. 03, blue, brand new. 40 years ago I had a GS 750 ET and really liked it. Hadn’t ridden since then. I’m really enjoying this bike also. The only thing I don’t like about it is how frantic it sounds and feels once you get up to about 4500 RPMs. It’s a small engine that revs high. For that reason, I miss my four-cylinder 750. But I only bought the Yamaha to get around town less expensively and with less pollution, so it works fine. Besides that, it is comfortable and fun. I am curious to know about your saddlebags, what they are and whether you like them? Congratulations on your new bike! Hope to hear from you.
Nice, before buying a tail tidy I would remove the rear fender and see if ruins the way it looks with the bags on. I have a 2021 and would recommend the r6 throttle tube swap be high on your list. The Puig and that are quality of life improvements that made a difference with commuting.
I’ve had my bike for 2 summers. Not a new rider. 20 years now but my last bike was an 1100. For me it’s not about excessive speed. It’s about low cost transportation. I’m 6’ tall and I’m quite comfortable on it. Could it use a little more power? maybe a little but I’m satisfied with it.
I'm glad that I'm not the only one who's old and has this bike!!
Who you calling old! Haha
I’m 75 and I really enjoy riding mine.

I have been thinking about the throttle swap.
@@madcapmotorcyclesI simply adjusted the throttle cable. Worked like a charm.
