Brilliant Darren. Got a great caravan there. You will find many, many places to start camping. We got our caravan after camping, with frame tents, trailer tents and folding campers (and when erected, they can be much larger than a caravan inside, with less room for parking up for the winter), and lastly the caravans. You did everything correct, and by the way, that's the best caravan site with the children's play area and obviously, the scenery. You can't beat the Lake District. Fantastic. Heads up, just remember when going on some sites (not all), but just take note if you wish to use full service pitches, they ask you to use green fluid for their septic(?) tanks and not to use blue fluid. Blue fluid is only used to pour down main service drains, usually located near to the toilet facilities. People can he heavily fined if using blue in a septic tank. Its like putting diesel in your petrol tank. And why don't you do winter caravanning? You can visit Christmas markets around the country or even on the continent. Much cheaper than organising it with travel agents😉
Super little video. What a super site. I just love and enjoy the Cumbrian and Lake district. Some of the best views ever. Thanks for inviting us along. Stay Safe and Enjoy.
nice one , good to see you out in the caravan with the family , its a lovely van that is , do you guys for years , i had a few burger vans many years ago and learned the hard way to put everything away or tie them down with bungee cords , my oldest bought a lovely 2 berth this year from an old couple down in the lake district , he had no towing experience so dad went down with him lol once we got to Carlisle i pulled into the first service station for him to drive it home , well hes got to learn hasn't he 42 now so about time lol hes been out a few times in it and loves it , told him i will give him a tubular heater i use in green house it will keep the frost out in winter and costs a quid a week at most , keeps the temp up and stops the frost getting in , happy camping
@@Life_of_Darren your welcome. I'd love to have a motorhome or caravan and get out and about maybe even live on a narrow boat throughout the three seasons of the year.
@Life_of_Darren I did go one and got to control one when was on a residential out of primary school it was really good, I just don't think I could manage the locks though. I don't live too far from the bingley 5 rise locks if you've ever heard of them they are always a nice sight to see.
Enjoyed that Darren 👍 , the van's looking great . They ducks will be off when they see what you had on the pizza 😁 . Does it feel odd towing the van , as you're normally almost over your pivot point in an artic , where as with towing the van your pivot is more half way ?
That caravan is the mutt’s nuts mate, you’re going to have some brilliant getaways I that. Cheers for the video, we love Ullswater and that part of the Lake District, not as busy as other parts. We used to stay at Hillcroft, another brilliant site at Pooley Bridge, many happy memories of there.
just the same as the other comments on the pink flush stuff, don't use it, you can clog up the pump that flushes the toilet. Great looking caravan mate, brilliant holidays for families.
Great video mate! Looks a fantastic site! Plenty memories will be made with that caravan, Invaluable! Be good if you do get out to France ect in it. Would love one too, just to get away on a weekend away from every day life
If you aren't using your caravan over the winter, stand your seat cushions up between the front seats, it stops them getting damp & keeps the air flowing.
A great caravan Darren and great memories buddy ive stayed there my self with the family a great caravan park top tip with the fuses issue spray them with a bit of wd40 mt as is may cause corrosion in the fuse box whitch is normal buddy unfortunately 💯💙❤️
The black stuff in your flush tank is caused by using the pink stuff, I used cheap fabric conditioner instead. Have you cleaned your water pipes out for walks your normal taps? Get some puriclean, fill your aquaroll with the solution, run it into you pipes by turning on the taps until the water comes through then turn off, leave it overnight then run all the taps until the water runs out, then run 2 barrels of water through, your pipes are then clean & safe if you want to clean your teeth.
Love your truck vlogs hope your caravan videos are just as good one tip don't be afraid to ask any other caravaners for any advice they will help as for black bits it caused by pink flush tank chemical normal happy caravaning

The caravan and trip looks amazing. Quite fancy going to the site to stay as well. Keep up the good work sir. 😀👍
Thanks james it was a great little get away for sure
Lovely caravan buddy👍
How dose the car tow the caravan i used to have a 2.0 diesel automatic ford mondeo titanium x estate in burgundy red it was a 14 reg
It tows really well tbf, I find it works better in sports mode as it’s manual control, the automatic likes to keep it in lower gear
Really enjoyed that Darren cracking site there hope you have many more great trips 👍
Thanks Jason
Just come across your caravan holiday nice to see
you having a break with all the hours you do.
It was definitely needed 😃
