On a bright sunny day in 2020 I passed a masked high school kid and told him that the Sun's UV rays break down viruses. He said "I didn't know that". The given advice was to use dish soap at home which does break down viruses effectively. All good. But the public was *left ignorant* to the science of UV rays ALSO being effective. That was an incompetent omission which could ONLY have been intentional to keep the public masked up in broad daylight with the Sun shining.
I am in the southern California area.

This spill and "controlled" release is a much bigger story (disaster) than originally thought. The complete incompetence of our local and federal officials is beyond imagination......horrendous and we will all ultimately pay the price for putting them in charge.
It should have been recovered even if they had to dig 50 feet down. Burning is something that only works in an actual incinerator. A wholesale fire like that created more toxins with uncontrolled heat and interactions with oxygen and nitrogen. Burning it on site is unlikely to be found in any disaster procedures. $25K is an interesting figure and a blatant slap in the face by a corporation that holds a lot of testicle leashes in Washington.

Construction Workers have special skills and training, a trained equipment operator can accomplish far more that those without the skills and experience!!! It takes years to become skilled with construction equipment. Not everyone can operate a 20 ton dump truck!!
Exactly. I heard that Catepillar had over 100 job openings for heavy equipment operators where the jobs started at $120,000 a year. Lets not forget that there would be a lot of openings in the construction field, if say a couple of pipelines weren't cancelled.

Roseanne's laugh is unmistakable, and I can't help but laugh when I hear it. I grew up on her show and thought it was a great and accurate portrayal of a regular family.

Even my husband, who was not a Rosanne fan, loved the silly show. He was from a sheet rock and plastering family. He liked that it brought a common man's approach to family life.

Being that I am in the construction business I've lived the idiocy of hiring quotas for decades. Contrary to belief, most construction trades require great skill. Hiring events in any low income sector produce only low-skilled workers - laborers and cleaners.
So glad Roseanne was on the show.
Um the train derailed because of a broken axle that happened 20 miles before it crashed that went undetected. But the question is was it a freak accident, neglect of maintenance because the rail workers are short staffed, or was it intentional? 🧐🧐🧐Me personally i believe it was intentional because this massive chemical leaked into a major water source the supplies hundreds of farms water and also a major aquifer is located right underneath Ohio and i think they are trying to ruin the water source to millions of people and farmland. Take away peoples ability to have clean drinking water and food sources like farms then they have to depend on government for assistance. Control the necessities control the people. But don't listen to me its just a theory 🤷
