I love the covers & back covers on your HPbook collection. I actually throw away all the dust jackets--I'm horrible about these things. I don't know why I hate those things so much that I automatically throw them out--Ugh!!! Your Signature Edition Boxed set is beautiful!!! Oh how I would love to have that on my shelf! Yes, I am a tad envious of you today. : )
i absolutely love all the none-united states versions - when i read the series i had all the u.s.a versions, but the u.k/english-bloombury ones are just gorgeous!
I live in the US and I have really been wanting to buy the UK collection. But I am not sure which edition I should buy. The children's, signature, special edition, or adult edition. I really like how artistic the children's edition is. But I am wondering which edition they made best? As in fonts and box binding. Etc. I am 20 years old. So please if anyone could recommend me which edition they think is best? Thank you very much
They are great illustrations :). I used to have Fantastic Beasts & Quidditch through the ages, but they got lost in one of my house moves unfortunately. I hope to repurchase copies again soon :)
The signature and adult editions are my favorites but I can't deny that I love the illustrations of Mary GrandPre :) have you got the companion books ? fantastic beasts etc?
The signature edition looks like the Italian version I bought in my Waterstones earlier (we finally have a Foreign Literature section) and I seen Harry Potter e la Pietra Filosofale (Italian 1) and HAD to buy it :D
Thats a good question, I hadn't thought of that before. I think the cover art of books is the decision of the publisher, so I assume Bloomsbury have probably disallowed movie versions. I'm quite glad actually :), I really dislike movie covers.
Lovely. I'm getting the American edition soon. Nevertheless, I already got the Holy Grail of HP collections - the original Bloomsbury UK first hardback editions in pristine condition with protective sealing (bought them at around $850).
Hello Kayleigh :D wanna know if there is some pictures in the paper back and hard cover books???? :P cause i'm gonna buy these books from Amazon, maybe Tomorrow :D
What is the difference between the children's and adults editions. I have all 7 books in children's edition (as well as two other copies of book 1) so I'm curious
I'm just saying on the philosopher's stone that wizard isn't young Dumbledore it's just a wizard the author didn't know what harry potter was so he just drew a wizard
Random thought, but why doesn't Harry Potter have movie versions. I know they are usually unappealing but it's odd that such a huge franchise doesn't have them.
You're not weird. That was a long time ago , I'm sorry i will never say that again! , Honestly! i don't know why! , I think it was the soundtrack... At the start of the video... I Thought it was funny... sorry.
You spelled version wrong and not all uk ones suck the uk half blood prince is good all the others are rememberable but the new ones where harry looks like a girl 2014 I think are amazing
Jared Bancroft I don't really like the new covers. I walked into a harry potter shop in london one day then looked at the new Harry Potter book covers and I was like NOOO What HAVE THEY DONE...???!!!
i just like how the uk version doesnt have a dust jacket its just a nice hard cover. makes for reading quite nice.

I love that signature edition! Currently I have three sets of the books. I want to start collecting the UK versions now.

I have the same editions as you (UK Children's) and I live in Canada. I really like these covers. :) PoZ is my favourite book too!
I remember when I asked for this!! Haha, thanks again for doing it. I still enjoy watching it:)
Are you getting HP Cursed Child? I am, but on my Kindle.
Thank you :). I think the boxed set is my most precious set of books now :). I don't even want to read them in case they get damaged!
Well, some spines are quite wide. The Deathly Hallows Edition matches the Edition on AR BookFinder.

No I meant there are no editions of the book with movie covers. It is strange because the most books turned into movies will have that.

the covers are different :)

Hey, The Philosopher's Stone! The Regular, U.S. version is titled:
"Harry Potter and the 'Sorcerer's' Stone".
How much does the children uk edition box set cost?
I'm not sure, maybe look on Amazon? they'll probably have good value sets
For the philosopher stone book its actually Professor Quirrel.
Samtaplet I always thought it was Nicholas flamel
It's actually a random wizard the illustrator drew taking inspiration from his own father. Look it up on the web.
It's actually Nicolas flamel
Incorrect, it’s a random wizard as confirmed in the 25th anniversary edition of philosophers stone
I have 2 rare ones one of them printed in Scotland
could you please tell me where did you buy those ??
I think most were from waterstones or Amazon :)
What is the difference between the children's addition and the grown up edition
