I just can't get with calling us black so, I'll simply say African. As an African guy, I can't feel effected by what they say here. They make it clear they are talking about their experiences, and not generalizing! I keep running into women who hate kids and have shown willingness to harm them, if I talked about them the women who are not like that should not feel any type of way about my complaints.

I'm a black man and just wanted to say in regards to not feeling like black men are interested, they might not have thought you were interested or might reject them if they were to approach you. I personally haven't been shown much interest by Asian women but ive always thought and still do think they are some of the most beautiful women on the earth. The stereotype about big butts and titts isnt always true. Sounds corny and cliche but beauty really is in the eye of the beholder! I only dated 1 vietnamese girl back in highschool and then had 1 random friend of a coworker show interest, but i was going through an awkward phase in life and nothing came from it but i was always and will be open to dating Asian women, yall are beautiful ❤️

As a BM, I never found Asian women attractive until my junior year of high school due to the cultural differences and thin body types. They were cool as friends but not something I pursued romantically. I've always dated latina since my neighborhood in Houston was predominantly Hispanic. My wife is Korean and Mexican and we've been married 17 years. She has an old school mentality and not on BS. Just love who you love because I thought I would be with a totally different woman. Open your mind and heart.

For every one Asian guy like that, there are 100 more Asian girls the opposite way. Not a fair comparison to make since 80% of Asian men prefer their own while only 50% of Asian women do.
I'm Black and my Ex girlfriend was Korean and I flew to Korea to spend 7 weeks with her and her Mom. I faced some racist moments such as them having to hide me away when the pastor comes to visit or her dad, but I think this was more because I'm a Man than my race. People were also afraid of me walking around and they complained but the announcer on the speakers for every building had to tell everyone who I was and not to freak out when they see a big Black dude passing by. I decided to start talking to the people in Korean and now I became their favorite negro and the kids tried practicing English on me. I remember one kid though, he saw me and started running for his life and when I got into the building he was there hyperventalating waiting for the elevator, I just looked at him and walked up the stairs so I won't further frighten him. Thing about my Ex Gf, she talked with a more Black accent than me and people said I came off as a Korean more in my personality. So it was a weird dynamic like the both of us were more into each others culture.

Late 20s Asian Male here. I was definitely a late bloomer, as many Asian guys are and just my experience with Asian women honestly prior in my teens and early twenties really drove me to my positive views of white women. With my experiences I see Asian women as good for hooking up with and White Women being the best partners. We talk about Asian solidarity, but no Asian woman ever saw me as anything in college, compared to white women. Personally, I don’t really care when I see Asian women assaulted or whatever on the news because they never would have cared for me. So this whole white male Asian female dynamic bothers me very little in all honesty. We look like their brothers or their abusive fathers to these people anyway. Why solidarity with them when these people would never care about us? Why are you guys getting bent out of shape over them getting hurt, when they see little in us, but as their obligated advocates? When have they came to bat for us? They owe us nothing, but we owe them nothing as well.
Every step of the way in my social and physical growth of adulthood white women whether romantically or platonically have just treated me more as a human than Asian women have. Also, I’m just saying the black dudes and black women will build your self confidence and esteem up like no other.
Idk even personality wise I really think white women are a more genuine people then the materialistic shallow Asian women. I’ll say I grew up on the southeast coast from Alabama/Georgia. So I’ll admit my view can be somewhat skewed, but my unique life experiences nobody, but Asian women has truly seen me as a lesser person. If there was ever any person being disrespectful it was the Asian women in college, but the white women, black women, brown women, and Latinas were cool and genuine and always had my back. Truly guys, just dial your life in, get fit with some muscle, and get social out there. I’m 29 now and I definitely bloomed late, but I am blessed and happy with the awesome tall southern blonde woman from Georgia (US, to be clear) I’m with (lot of luck). I’ll paint with a broad brush as - Korean American guy, I really don’t care for Asian women and don’t care what happens to them. I feel no solidarity for them and I know they feel the same way.

Your comment is interesting about you feeling that you're valued less than by the woman in you're own race as an asian man. It's similar to how I've seen some black men talk about how they feel they are viewed by some black women based on how some black women talk about them or treat them.

As a black man, I'm very attracted to asian women. With or without the bodies that people think we're typically attracted to, but I only realised asian women were open to someone like me once I got on dating apps. I've found asian women to be more reserved in public, even if they're attracted to you, they often won't give the same strong signals other cultures might give so I've typically left them alone.

However at my local chinese takeaway this Asian woman kinda has a thing for me, she ALWAYS gets happy when I walk in and she always gives me extra food...She even knows my voice and starts getting happy when I call up to order lol. It really comes down to compatibility and attraction. I'm Mexican American from California and been living in Japan for a few years now. My Japanese wife and I have been together already for 4 years. Being able to enjoy each day together is the most important thing when looking for a partner otherwise you'll still feel unfulfilled like any other relationship around the world.
The interesting thing about these asian women thinking we're not interested in them is the same exact thing many black men think about asian women not being interested in us so we date women who show us in one way or another that they'be interested in dating a black man . Being a black man from a city where there's every possible combination of interracial relationships you could ever imagine, the least common one i see is black men and asian women with the most common being asian women and white guys. Seeing this, i just assume asian women aren't into us so i never really paid attention to them that much despite seeing some cute/attractive ones over the years.

Seeing this show is funny, because recently i saw a video an Asian guy posted talking about how Asian women won't date Asian men after dating western men (white men). This phenomenon of only dating outside your culture, let's say culture instead of race, amongst both sexes of all cultures. I have seen it and i have experienced it firsthand. There are pros and cons to this, and the greatest con is someone hating themselves because of the negative stereotypes of their culture and believe dating someone who they perceive to be from a better culture than they're from will make them appear better. That is very sad and that is what I see in these two women. GOOD LUCK AND GOOD MENTAL HEALTH.

I'm a black male and a Millenial. I'm in good shape and I have a college education. I work full time and have no kids or criminal record. There, now that I've busted the stereotypes time to get down to business haha. A lot of people (including myself) were raised learning negative stereotypes about other races. Unfortunately, the generations before us were more homogenous and racist. But as people began to study, live, and work with different races, things changed. I grew up in a wealthy black household. I heard racist things about every racial group at the dinner table. It was hypocritical and I had to unlearn a lot. My parents were not good Christians.
I had classmates of different races in the suburb I grew up in. And I had some good and bad experiences with all races, including my own. I was also raised being told I should only marry or date black women. But I was different from a young age. My first crush was a Black girl. In third grade I had a crush on a White classmate. In fifth grade I had a crush on the really cute Chinese girl in my class. But I was so indoctrinated by my family so I mostly gravitated towards black girls until high school. I went to a private high school and started to crush on White girls. In high school I dated a girl that was half Asian and half White.
I dated White girls too. I didn't like other races because they were a certain race or because I had self hatred. I was a typical boy that liked girls that were pretty and nice. There are pretty women of all races. Asian women are really pretty to me. I check them out every time I see them lol. I have to admit Sir Mix a Lot was right. She's a former Olympic Speed Skater from South Korea. Her body type is what I like. She's lean and curvy. I don't always need big hips, but I do like even small curves in the right places lol. I see attractive Asian women all the time. But, when I see an Asian woman with a guy he is usually White. I read research on that, and scientists did a study. I can't remember the source or article. But Scientists say White men are attracted to the facial features of Asian women and vice versa. That same study also said Black men like the facial features of White women and vice versa.
So based on Science, some people subconsciously like certain races/facial structures. That doesn't mean this is always the rule. But it's what Scientists have come up with so far. Most people don't know about this type of study. So they assume Asian women think White men are superior to other races. To be honest I thought that before stumbling upon that research a few years ago. It would frustrate me because I'd wonder if Asian women only dated White men. But after doing some TH-cam searches, there are Asian women with men of different races. I definitely would date and marry an Asian woman.
And I know there are Asian women who would see me as more than a fun time to try. I appreciate you two having this conversation. Communication brings people together, that's how we all learn. I'm not a Christian anymore, but wishing you two blessings!
P.s. Shining you met the wrong black men back in the day. I've paid for more dates than I can count lol. I'm more modern so I like to split the bill on the first date #equality. Then we take turns paying for whole dates after that. It's not because I'm cheap. I have a more modern view of dating and relationships. I split the bill on the first date because I may never want to see her again if I'm not interested. Anytime I've paid for a first date it never turned into a long term relationship. Women who are okay splitting the bill on the first date with me has lead to relationships.

I had a spiritual awakening after I told off my narcissistic friend of over 10 years and decided to cut off my energy. I feel free, light and love every moment of it. My friend played the victim, hasn't had a stable job for the past 2 to 3 years even after I gave him all the tools to look for work and get IT certifications. He does the same thing, plays video games all day and obsesses over eating out and has been overweight for so many years. I will continue to focus on my successful and reflect on my own growth.

On one hand, it’s their lived experience that are dictating their perspectives, as young Asian-American women, I will say in Toronto, Canada- the playing field is entirely different. Different because anyone who isn’t white is more than likely from another culture entirely living in the city as first generation from wherever. Its not uncommon for interracial couples here to connect, date, marry and work entirely- even from a young age. There are many complexes at work on this topic as I see it from my Torontonian perspective outside looking in. Just discovered y’all and I think this pod is a goldmine, keep grinding y’all, good work.

I frist fell in love with Asian females from an early age, like since I was 7 yrs old. In my neighborhood there was a Chinese laundry. In the owner and his family lived in the back of the laundry. I use to pass by everyday on my way to school. As I looked into the laundry one day, l observed his cute daughter playing. She was around my age; we were both kids. I started to wave at her as I went by. She would smile and wave back. Then it became a regular thing, to wave as I went pass. She always waved back. As time progressed, I started to notice she started to check to see who in her family was watching before she would smile and wave back.
I told myself, "maybe I am geting her into trouble because she's waving back at me, and her family don't like her waving back to me because I am Black".
Growing up Black you are always aware of those things. So I stopped waving at her or I'd walk on the other side of the street as I went pass the laundry. I thought she was beautiful, especially her eyes. In fact my ex wife who was a Flipina, she said she was attracted to me because I had Asian looking eyes. My mom had some Native American blood; Cherokee, and the kids in my neighborhood use to call me "Cat Eyes". It never bothered me because it made me feel unique. I loved bring different. I didn't like them calling me half-breed. I thought many of them, that lived in my area, were assholes anyway! I still date Asian women. I do believe that they are some of the sexiest and the most beautiful women in the world, that know how to treat a man well. 👍❤👌🙏🏻🫠

I personally do gravitate toward handsome (that means balanced features for me), and also healthy (good hygiene and taking care of oneself on all fronts, including physically). It varies in New York/New Jersey Black men typically date Asian women, as for the Bay Area, CA. They date Asian women. Outside of those two places you rarely see many Asian women with Black men

The guy with the dog and saying, “I didn’t see you there.” He wasn’t blaming. He just didn’t think past him literally not seeing you there. The implication is that had he saw you, maybe he would’ve gone a different way, held on to his dog a little longer, waited for you to leave to come out with his dog, etc. While I agree that he had no intention of being accountable for his dog, I doubt if he was blaming anyone. He just didn’t think that far into it.

I enjoyed your commentary I think it was insightful regarding your experiences with Black and White men. As a Black man with an Asian wife, I do think you represented your experiences with sincerity, which is helpful for people not exposed to the topic to get a little window into the experience. I think you also referenced indirectly the influences of your parents on your dating and outlooks in the social market place of American Dating. I have to say I was little saddened by the experiences with the Black men but, I also can see how that would happen and somewhat why. Some men in general are opportunists, sounds like the ones you met were unfortunately that... I will say some of these experiences were not representative of Black men in general, especially of certain class levels, but I do know they exist. Also, I do think in some instances White culture depending on the ethnicity is more adaptable to Asian cultures than something Black African whether it is from the Americas or from the African Continent. Basically, like all things the sample size was small, specific, and maybe not large enough to make generalities, but that off course is the name of the game in this type of format. So, thank you for your transparency, and I wish you and your channel continued success.
