- PORTLAND, Ore. - As police are attempting to clear Portland State University (PSU) of anti-war protesters who have been occupying the campus library since Monday, some students are saying the situation has gotten out of hand.
KATU News spoke to Andrew, a first year music student at PSU, who said the occupation of the Millar Library on campus has gotten out of hand in the last 24 hours.
"I'm just trying to take my midterms... what's happening is shutting down the entire school," said Andrew.

noise pollution shouldn't be allowed in the campus,they were harassing everyone by shouting inside everyone's ears and they didn't even let other students get in to attend the class (it's a harassment) , you could do protest at the corner without disturbing others but those were really radical

@terenceflanagan1225 nice come back. I have over 200hrs. I finished with a math degree. I had some one tell that you could go to medical school with a women students. Until I pointed out you would have to take higher math and science.
Tell me is gender studies a thought after degree in the business world. At best it a social worker can't even teach with it.
What is sad about all of this locally? the 2020 HS grads of Pandemic are the 2024 College Grads presently, trying to complete their degrees, finals, and graduate. Appalling. 2024 Grads lost their last year of HS, and 1st and 2nd semesters of ' in class learning', now this. Great!
I wish the first guy the best and hope his PSU degree doesn't hold him back in the future. The word 'Portland' conjures up images in peoples mind due the cities lack of stability in the past few years. The second guy? Whatever.
