Me too I had Spanish subject in the university. I took Spanish 1 and 2. I learned the basic sentences like que pasa, que Hora es, qousa te nombre, de donde es usted, mi habla spañol pero poquito comprende pero no todo. I hope I said it right.😅
I was a scholar on my college days but my scholarship was almost stop because my grade in spanish is 3.0 equivalent to 75. In the present curriculum here in the Philippines spanish subject is already removed.
I am from Cebu, I know a lot of words the same as Spanish..new generation not practising more of those words..My grandma used the word abanico(not with electric)

I remember during my college days(80's), we have spanish subject...But now I dont think spanish included in their curriculum...but I am not fluent bcoz I dont focus on the subject. I always skip. 😅😅😅
@@Rivan98 You can't understand me, search it on the net and you'll see why, we're colonized by Spaniards, Americans and was occupied by the Japanese and almost all of the Filipinos are fluent or if not fluent can speak English, because we have English as subject on our Schools here, and we adapt saying "Hello" and "Hi" on a daily basis. No they can't . In only took the Americans 50 or so years to almost complete erase the Spanish language in the PH.. that is how much the Filipinos despised their Spanish colonizers.. they were more than willing to do away with speaking in Spanish ..
