    All that you said in Portuguese is word for word exactly the same how a Portuguese person would say it, just with another accent. So call it what you want, but the Portuguese used in Portugal and the language you used in the video that you called Brazilian Portuguese are the same language. Not even two dialects.

    • @sebastidude4913
      @sebastidude4913 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Let me start by saying that pronunciation IS grammar. And even if it wasn't, you're way too naïve to think that grammar doesn't change from Brazil to Portugal.
      e.g.
      🇵🇹 Estar a fazer
      🇧🇷 Estar fazendo
      The disctintion between a dialect and a language is more political than it is linguistical, if there's no more political will to call it the same language, then we all can agree it isn't.
      ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    • @i4limbo
      @i4limbo 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I do agree that they're the same language but there are big differences! Is just that they're dependent on region (a lot of different dialects) / social class and also context (for example, she's way more likely to use standard constructions on a video than daily life).
      We tend to use more analytical constructions compared to Portugal, like how in my region if the conjugation tables for Amar were closer to our speech, it'd literally be this:
      Infinitive -> Amar
      1st person present -> Amo
      All the other persons in the present -> Ama
      1st person preterite -> Amei
      The other persons in the preterite -> Amou
      Gerund -> Amando
      Imperative -> Ame
      And that'd be it, lmao 😭
      But this isn't a universal thing, as you can see from the girl in the video.
      Funnily enough there are some exceptions, like how "Estar fazendo" is less analytical than "Estar a fazer".
      In general the closer to the countryside the less similar it is.
