Well, the "buyer" is now on the hook for theft, obtaining property under false pretenses, wire and mail fraud, amongst other charges. Unreal I’m a person like yourself that believes people are genuine and trustworthy.But I have come across people that are absolutely not. I always try to take caution and some people are very believable.The GM said that he paid and the car was paid off and closed out the account.This is a terrible situation for you and I feel terrible and I don’t even know you. I would want someone to be very happy with the vehicle and of course have it go to a person who really wants and loves it.GM should be held responsible and this guy.Your insurance should pay off the car and give you some money. You will take a loss on the modifications.Just terrible I hope it worked out.
