    The part of this that makes me feel better isn't just the obvious correct verdict but the fact that the jury had to know that it would enrage rioters and possibly risk their livelihoods or even their lives in delivering it. The were brave enough to say "we won't be intimidated". Good for them.

      Jurors should be allowed to give their assessment in the best of their ability impartially. Any outside influence real or in the imagination should be rejected. And the Justice system should take to task anyone who hinders/negatively influences workers

      @@somkit9102 - yes, it does. It's a clear case of Jury tampering. The Governor is threatening the jury by implying that the city will burn unless they come back with a guilty verdict. There was no reason for the governor issue a press release that he was calling up all of those national guardsman (500) several days before the case even went to the jury. BTW, why bring in 4 or 5 times more national guard for this jury verdict than he did when the riots were destroying the city? It was a threat to the jury that they need to come back with the verdict he wants.

    Kyle showed remarkable trigger discipline. He actually stopped firing when his attackers backed up and only fired when they encroached upon him again. This is the most clear-cut case of self-defense I've ever seen. I hope the prosecutors are disbarred for withholding evidence. It's unbelievable they brought any charges in the first place.

    Imagine if this was your son , he is a good kid and needed to defend himself , we are all in trouble as a country if you can’t defend yourself from a mob . I’m really angry that liberals are using this to further abuse Kyle by using the court system and media to further victimize this kid . It’s a sham and a shame . I want to see all those Rioters and that mob and those who came after Kyle to be in court prosecuted , fair is fair . Our justice system is really messed up . I love this Judge though , he’ is a good one . I don’t know why the jury is taking so long to decide - it’s not hard to see it was justifiable self defense .
