I was wondering where you had go to Colwin. so pleased to see you back an din front of the camera again. so interesting to listen and watch your videos. You hold the audience .I am please to see antler turning. your video gave much advice on what to expect with turning this natural material. Thank you.
Hey, just wanted to let you know it was this video that swung me to buy my mini lathe from you. I really like this company so id rather support you guys than draper!
Good to see you back in Blighty,Colwin! Loved the thimbles. Any idea when the Woodturners pack of airbrushes will be back in stock? Having watched numerous vids of you using them, I really want to give them a try..must have been on the list to be notified when back in stock for about a year! All the best, and keep up the good work, please. Regards,Dave Cockayne.
Hi guys. I'm lucky enough to have fields & wooded glades around me which holds wild deer. I've no problem getting antler which has naturally shed off...... ?? - do I need to prep /dry or do anything to the antler before turning it.? Thanks in advance, Jim
Great question Jim, Colwin advises that naturally shed antler should be ready to go, unless really fresh. Most of the time you'll be using the tips, which should be ready to work at any time. Hope that helps!
You apologised to the Amerians for NOT being able to use BRITISH MEASURMENTS. The UK started to use Metric Measurments when we joined the EU. WE HAVE LEFT THE EUROPEAN UNION. IMPERIAL MEASUREMENTS LIKE INCHES ARE BRITISH!!!! YOU SHOULD BE GIVING ALL MEASUREMENTS IN IMPERIAL UNITS - FIRST. By all means as a courtesy to Europe it is OK to give metric measurments AFTERWARDS. How do you get things BACKWARDS?
Wow !!! Great !!!
