- We finally made it back to the beach near the end of our MEXICO journey. Our first stop was PUERTO ESCONDIDO, admittedly not our favorite beach town, but we quickly fell in love with the OAXACA COAST during our stay in ZIPOLITE. Not only does ZIPOLITE have MEXICO's only nude beach, but it's also in between two laid-back beach towns, MAZUNTE and PUERTO ÁNGEL. It ended up being the perfect place for us to relax, watch the epic sunsets, and get work done in paradise.

We’re Sean and Elliot, two thirty-something former musical theatre actors and restaurant industry veterans with a passion for food and travel.
In 2015 we got married, said goodbye to our acting ambitions, quit our day jobs, and decided to spend our honeymoon on a one-year Working Holiday Visa backpacking throughout New Zealand. That once-in-a-lifetime experience changed our perspective and opened us up to the possibility of long-term travel.
2020 was a brutal year for us, but it gave us the opportunity to rethink our priorities and commit ourselves to our dream of traveling the world together. So in August of 2021, we sold all of our stuff and bought a one-way ticket to Mexico with the plan to travel for as long as we possibly can.

Oaxaca is often referred to as Mexico's "last coast." When first you feast your eyes on its enigmatic coastline, it will be easy to see why. Backed by the rugged Sierra Sur mountains, the best beaches in Oaxaca run along a jagged coastline that weaves in and out of rocky bays and inlets.
It’s a stunning coastline.

*Hopefully you have the time to go to Mitla archeological zone (if you like to explore that) and you have not to miss the majestic Tule tree is a nice place for reflection, meditating, thinking and pondering too hope you enjoy more and if you can buy some Mayordomo brand chocolate to take home and prepare hot chocolate is very famous in South and Mexico City*
