If you're in and around the wichita area and have already done the Aviation museum, take a day and head about 45 minutes north to Hutchinson and hit the Kansas Cosmosphere. the lobby is built around an actual flown SR-71 blackbird. There's an large collection of space race artifacts, like the Apollo 13 command module!
The Cosmosphere is currently under renovation to be finished by the end of 2024 (check their website), but it is a fantastic visit. Plan for a full day if you're a space nerd.
Would have liked you to add Wichita State University. It not only has great sports entertainment, but the campus is beautiful with art sculptures and flower beds. The original Pizza Hut is located on campus and the University has a wonderful variety of musical and theater productions.
Loved the city , walked everywhere enjoying the restaurant and brewery. Visited Museum they were awesome! And yes I was able catch a game!! Thanks Wichita, it was fun, friendly and educational. ❤
Hi Sam! I've seen quite a few "travel' videos about Wichita, and yours is the best. Very well done, from the excellent photography to the selection of points of interest. Sure, there were a few other places to highlight. . .the DOC B-29 Hangar and Museum, for example. It ties so well into the city's aviation history. 1,644 of them were built in Wichita during WW II. Wichita isn't my hometown, but I've lived here a long time and spent many years directing live TV newscasts. And I just have to say, from a "director's" viewpoint, you're a wonderful "performer." You really do a great job on your videos. Your energy and presentation style is engaging and fun. Glad I found you here, and I plan to "travel" a lot more with you!
I recently moved here and am looking to join a golf league. I also saw Wichita offers an 80 dollar a month membership to the 4 public courses. Any recommendations?
yeah... and doodah diner! Central standard brewery! My wife and I are thinking about moving out of Wichita -- we've travelled quite a bit, and can't really find a better place. so we're still here lol!

I’m glad that my city is getting the recognition that it’s getting love to see it!💯💙
This was the most indormative

We visited this beautiful place together. I loved it a lot. Thank you for sharing. I am impressed Wichita 🥰❤
Wichita is a nice place to live… My hometown glad it’s getting some recognition that it deserves
Well done!
My favorite place is Chilsom Creek Park and Great Plains Nature Center.
Food Bests...
Mexican - Taco's TJ.
BBQ - Station 8
Italian - Amoré
MMMMM, good choices, but my fav. BBQ is either Delano or When Pigs Fly, Italian is definitely Bella Vita
Not a bad video. The excellent Sedgwick County Zoo probably deserved more of a mention. It is great for kids and adults as well.
Thanks for this video! I got here yesterday and have been really impressed so far. I'm excited to try some of the places in your list 🙏
Nicely done. Don't forget about DOC the WW2 restored plane housed near the Eisenhower airport
Great addition!

I just loved watching this x
Hello from the 22nd floor of the Epic Center! (thats the pointy white building you see at the beginning... nevermind)
Great job on this video! We also have lots of public and private golf courses!

Thanks for sharing. 👍
ICT born and raised!
Nice video!
Thank you! Definitely check out those places if you get the chance!
Will now pronounce Kansas as "Can Saw"
Kellogg still under construction? And much crime!!!
Our construction workers know karate, they will fight this crime you speak of.
You forgot the Botanica!!!!
Also a great place in wichita!
It's at 5:47 ?
No one I know here in Kansas says "R-Kansas". Everyone says "R-Cun-Saw".
Insert subjective opinion on how to pronounce Arkansas. People here also pronounce El Dorado differently from other places
You are so beautiful 😍
She called Wichita a jewel. That's a lie.
