@Volts48 you're right! They NEVER stopped traffic for the show, random people walked by MANY shows!!!
Duuuuuude! I remember seeing this when I was a kid. Funny!
Let's start a band called The Vindow Cleaners.
"Wouldn't of had much fun in Stalingrad eh?"
after almost half a century this continuous to be unique on so many levels: the sheer audacity of poking into such a topic, at the time not that long removed from the sheer horror it held for the world... the brilliance of acting, John Cleese's Oscar-worthy Hitler performance on the balcony, the capturing of stereotypes, one doesn't know where to start: it's light years above 'normal' comedy. Utter brilliance!
Himmler didn't smoke.
It's not Himmler
@@glenmorgan4597 yes, it's bimmler
It’s a shame the nice Mr Hilter didn’t stand for the council in Bideford ( he should have taken the A39), as he would have fitted well in with the rest of the councillors!
Not much fun in Stalingrad.
I was intending to make a comment on this video, but TH-cam has banned me from making comments. Sorry about that, chaps.
Sorry to hear that Dickie old chum
@mphello Actually, it varies throughout America, pretty inconsistently. In Southern California, people refer to "the 10", "the 405", "the 101", "the Santa Monica freeway", etc., but also "PCH" to refer highway 1, which also doesn't get an article even in its numerical and spelled-out forms. There's also "the Pennsylvania Turnpike".
Not much fun in Stalingrand,no...hahahahahaha !!!!They are always so funny! Thanks for the video.
One of my favorites ever. Just the basic premise alone is a great joke: Hitler lives in an English B&B under the name Mr. Hilter.
If only the Monty Python team were around before the outbreak of war they would of been one of our greatest weapons for dealing with the Nazi propaganda machine Gorbels would of stood no chance.Brilliant ,painfyully funny the best of British satorising comedy.Thank you for putting it on .
Oy vey, how naive can one get?
@@deanronson6331 not quite as naive as responding to a 12 year old comment
@@bacontf2 Hmm, now you're trying to shame me by using some stupid social media convention invented by a moron and adhered to by morons, which says responses must be immediate so as to be valid. The initial comment was a textbook example of Pollyannaish naivete, and my reply is as valid today as it will be as long this thread exists. Comments and responses are not just for the benefit of the users responded to but also for the benefit of other readers. Obviously, my "belated" reply in your tiny mind is more sinful than the utter clueless childishness of the initial commenter.
Thankfully we had the tribe at Hollywood making our propaganda for us 😊
Of?
Hitlers plan to invade England.
. .was waiting for a Terry Gillam animation at the end. . 😆 🤣 😂
I love that slightly deranged guy who shouts - He's got great legs!
Does he reappear in anymore sketches or is he a one-time only character? I swear, he's in something else as well.
That Sir, is a Gumby. You will find them littered throughout the series.
New to Python. He's a continuing theme throughout all their work

That's a Gumby. They all played Gumbies at various points, though I think Palin did the best one. There are several sketches based on them, and they pop up randomly at other times.
@@premanadi Palin is the perfect Gumby, although the idea was originally from John Cleese.
How Cleese never blew his voice box out, I will never know.
I would vote for anyone who had an actual rally
Try showing this today on the telly 😂
NEIN!
Wouldn't this make a perfect sitcom? That crazy Hitler and his friends trying to plot world domination and being stopped arch time by the landlady. Sometimes assisted by his dim-witted drinking buddies from the Axis café.
John Cleese had some ball going outside in the UK looking like that when WW2 was still freah in memories of many 😂
0:24 palin's pronunciation makes me crack up every time.

One of the most underrated MPFC sketches
You wouldn't have much fun in Stalingrad! ha ha ha ha ha👌
I just love that it's got Japanese subtitles.
