Honestly, with all the marketing indie devs have to do, it’s a miracle any game-making actually gets done.

We can't agree more - finding your audience is extremely time-consuming but also crucial to your success.

Hello, Ask Gamedev! I'd really like to see a video about 3D animation/motion capture.
While topic of animation was touched several times, it wasn't covered completely. In the past I've found these options:
    - Using Blender's motion tracking. Great for facial animation, but not so good for body animation.
    - Using several cameras and specialized software. Might be expensive, require dedicated space.
    - Mocap suites like Perception Neuron or Rokoko Smartsuit. Great animations, but may be expensive.
    - Buying animation assets or outsourcing them.
    - Something else?
I'd love to learn from you on this topic :)

Like The matriach, I feel somewhat too much of a boomer to use tiktok, but those numbers are quite interesting.
The real question pertain to conversion rates though.
If I am correct in asuming that the tiktok audience is mainly composed of younger people, how much money can we trully get out of them from wishlisting on steam?
A wishlist from a 15 years old does not hold the same conversion value as a wishlist from an adult.
