Great discussion about Emotional Intelligence and the ability to regulate oneself is a basic tool that undoubtedly alot of folks simply don't possess. I too have the feeling charts in my office one for adults and children. Adults and children alike often do not know how to articulate their feelings and emotions because they've never been taught and its never been modeled for them.

Thank you for watching! I hope you consider subscribing.
You are correct! I feel like we should do better with teaching this as a life skill in elementary school. Then, we can aim to have more emotionally intelligent adults🎯

Excellent discussion!!! This is the reason my circle is SMALL.I cannot deal with people who are quicker to point the finger than look in the mirror. Cause sometimes WE are the problem. 😊

Great discussion. I've noticed that, sometimes, taking responsibility and owning up to your actions are looked at as a weakness in certain situations. This is an important topic. Thanks for sharing!

How do decipher what “constructive criticism” is versus someone just trying to call you out on your flaws becuase their projecting? Its TOUGH to accept someone calling you out on something when they themselves haven’t proven to be WORTHY or trusted….like how should I feel. Lol

Thank you for watching! I would suggest looking at the motive and intentions behind their words.
If they are projecting, it probably won't be "constructive." But if it is constructive criticism it would be done out of love and wanting to see you improve & get better in a particular area (not just to make you feel bad)
