    Thank you for your teaching here; I'm going to become quite the constant viewer; I'm finding the drunken signatures in my sino-tibetan forms, and over the years, I've talked to them, asked them to come forward, to emerge; and all you say is correct...and I just found you. Thank you, thank you for teaching me today *bows* *signs with 100% respect*

    Hi, just wanted to drop an opinion about your videos!
    You seem like a very educated Sifu, judging by your detailed descriptions and comprehension of techniques as well as stance purposes. It's difficult to find a legit Kung Fu school in America nowadays due to martial arts becoming mainstream and commericialized. Much respect from Hawaii!!

    I am a Taoist, my wife is a teacher--we live very much outside of the common narrative. We both have been traveling and settling intermittently, we are looking for a martial art to dedicate ourselves to (not just any, however); it will be the reason for our next move. If you are looking for students to pass this down to, you should PM me some details, we may just come to you, if you truly are willing to teach.I follow the integral way (on) the path of unobstructed truth,& this looks great!

    Hehe I've been practicing taekwondo for about six years now and sadly I have to move to a place where theres now taekwondo dojangs whatsoever. So where I'm moving I'll try to learn 3 stiles of kung fu :Dragon, Monkey, and Drunken. I Found some tutorials on the two others along time ago but couldn't find drunken until now. Thanks for having this Channel and showing ud how to make drunken boxing. When I've learned the techniques I'll link a video if you're interested :)

    Hi. I have been practicing martial arts for some time now, but have little knowledge of any Chinese arts. I would really enjoy learning this style, but don't know where to begin. So I was wondering if anyone could help me in locating an instructor in Virginia or one of the nearby states.

    As I cannot find a place that teaches this in my area, These are a great resource to start off drunken boxing. I am a black belt in Tang Soo Do (I actually was surprised there was not a single stance I didn't know in the video), but I have always wanted to learn Drunken Boxing.
    That said, I do eventually want to learn from a real person, as even as a black belt there is only so much I can learn from online videos. Do you know of any places in central Texas that teach this? Nothing shows up in my google searches aside from Shaolin and Wing Chun.

    • @PuipinOfMahogany
      @PuipinOfMahogany 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      I feel ya. But being a black belt does not quit mean that you know all the stances of a certain fighting style. Not saying you don't. but i would just say, even if its a beginning lesson in a siren style look at details. (which my guess you do) Allot of styles or schools {dojo's} or what ever you call where you learn, have same names. but different details in the cir ten stance. like for instance "the horse stance" in the system that i study the hours stance when you begin has your feet at about shoulders length, but once your more advanced you point your toes slightly inside for more of a routed stance. But in some other systems its your feet are beyond your shoulder length. i could go on but this is getting lengthy XD. And i believe you are highly skilled, its an estimate 1% of people get to black belt. So i say its awesome that you took the inisuitive to see things and realize things that you may not know. you are much better and open then most people that i can think of. so yeah! cooleo! Sorry for my spelling, I'm vary tired!

    • @joshintheshell
      @joshintheshell 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      I meant I knew the basic of the stances, obviously I can't do the perfectly, but the basic foot placement and weight distribution is exactly the same, I just expected more differences, I guess.

    Hello, I am 38 y.o. and have not been into sports or pyhiscal activities since my teenage days, but I am in reasonable good shape (not overweight). Approaching middle-age, I feel I want to give my body discipline and improve my entire physical and mental condition. Is it too late for me to get started with this martial art? Every comment will help, thank you.

    quick question on how you did the bow stance. are your feet parallel or is the back foot slightly turned in at a 45 degree? is it always on a demi-pointe or do you put your heels down?

    In Kungfu it is always recommended that we begin training our legs!
    The Horse Stance Is Very Important,. Horse Stance in chinese = MABU, pronounce as (MAPU). Ma= Horse, PU= Stance ^_^!,.. 15 minutes of Mabu is Minimum, and mabu can help your legs to be flexible ^__^!

    @NephilimFree @NephilimFree Nephy I really don't want to correct or have a go at you but you clearly don't understand where drunken wushu comes from. And secondly you made a comment from a clip in lefayad1991 last video, that all life is getting smaller and dumber. If this is true how do you explain the blue whale the biggest creature ever to grace the earth and also the tailors in savile row having to change there initial templates for larger ones?

    Hello sir
    I learned boxing in high school but not martial arts cause it was too expensive
    However learning via Skype might be a budget alternative
    Not sure if you can do gradings over the internet
    The only problem I see is not having someone physically there to correct posture however a solution is to have a training partner who can see and correct posture because we can't see ourselves in the third however they can
    If I can learn from You via Skype that'll be great I'll be your guinea pig and who knows we might be able to revolutionize how martial arts is taught
    I am looking forward to your response
