I also have people in my life I’m not very fond of, however, if I’d be getting such a shady question in such environment, I’d probably would start to call out the one who asked it. I’ve been doing this in certain settings, and it makes people feel very uncomfortable. It was obviously a nasty hook thrown at Paris knowing that it will cause more drama. Ofc, not defending Paris, she obviously had that choice of what to do. However, I think, the things would calm down easier, if random idiots would stop to ask impolite questions and add a gasoline to the fire, like, the events happened a decade before, but we’re washed over and over again. Even tho Paris had interesting answers to the questions, I’d say that in general she was always saying “No, I haven’t contacted the person,” yet, drama sqeezers kept on asking same old things. I wish people would call out those kind of people, instead of adding to the obvious provocations. But, well, that’s, ofc, on Paris in this case.

In my opinion Paris is the negative energy from the video of her whispering what to say about Lindsey and the lost puppy thing. And then she says that Lindsey is embarrassing. I think Paris is the embarrassment and she embarrassed herself by the video and the lost puppy thing. Even to this day she's saying negative things about Lindsey. Paris is a hypocrite.
Yet, everyone looks past that about her.. *everything* was all over the tabloids. It not comparable to today at all. Nothing is like it. And the mean girl behavior influenced the regular girls greatly. I'm so glad I'm in not hs, and I'm so glad that era is over.
I am an old hag so I remember and I can tell you💀 She went to jail and nobody felt bad about it. The media absolutely clowned her and every interview was about her upcoming jail stint. That is how it was talked about. Then, she had a ptsd reaction in jail and was crying until she threw up and refusing to eat due to being locked up. The jail staff people made a statement saying they really thought confinement was bad for her, so they let her out. Then, everybody in the media clowned her for “being so spoiled they let her out”.
Ofc, people at that time did not understand why she was having that severe of a reaction and just thought she was being a whiny rich girl. Now we know she was a young adult with serious confinement related trauma from childhood.
Still, it must be said that she probably would not have been released if she was not who she is- but I think that’s an indictment on the American prison system for failing to take regular peoples’ mental health seriously. Thats a systemic problem. Imo it’s good she was released if it was causing so much turmoil that her suffering was that obvious to the jail staff.

I was shocked and offended when I saw those recordings when they came out. That said, I do think she has made efforts to better herself. I don’t make excuses for whatever motivated her to make racism comments - it was wrong and hurtful full stop. But I do understand that young people are dumb and have a lot of learning to do, and she was 20 or 21 at that time. If I am not mistaken, she made homophobic comments were around the same time. I think we do need to allow for growth and personal development and there is ample reason to believe she is and has been doing work in that respect. Even in Wyoming, where the wealthy are ranch owners and flash their wealth differently, they still have one thing in common with Paris' type of wealthy people....they don't like outsiders. Even if you're part of the group, even if you earn your way into the same income, you'll never be one of them. They'll be passive aggressive bullies to you. Agree! Paris and Lindsay situation is really Regina George and Cady Heron. Paris befriended her for media mileage. She might be the queen bee but she lacks substance and real career unlike Lindsay who really is a legit star. So when the dynamics of their friendship shifted and Lindsay became an equal as opposed to just a sidekick, all hell broke loose. Lindsay was no angel but the foundation of their friendship is not built on real friendship. I think she probably went through super dark stuff and Lindsay probably witnessed some of it. As Dina's neighbor did you ever see Dina being erratic?
